Prove it then... not even the 20 million but just a single death saved because of the vaccine. You cannot. It's not a rip on you, nobody can. Hence it's not provable.

If anyone could, they would have already and wouldn't have to resort to nonsense theoretical computer models.

VERY interested in your attempt though gets out popcorn

The problem is there is no way to accurately tell if the vaccine saved a single life, let alone 20 million
As you see in the article, this is a mathematical model which indicates vaccines saved 20,000,000 lives. It is completely unprovable and only serves as a nice sounding talking point.

I also could claim 20,000,000 lives were saved by natural immunity. Or vitamin D from sunshine. Or the placebo effect.

All of those mentioned are also not provable.

Yes, asking questions is now enough to get you labeled a conspiracy nut job.

That toddler who continuously asks "why?" ten times in a row - conspiracy crank!!!

>Having a global pandemic led to the urgency to adapt them to human conditions where they have saved millions of lives

They've been trying for 10 years to get approval for human use. COVID was just the battering ram used to get them authorized for emergency use.

And your last point on saving millions of lives is complete speculation which is unknowable and unprovable. I can just as easily make the claim that cross reactive immunity from a precious Coronaviris infection saved millions of lives.

Did you mean Liberals on that 2nd to last sentence?
Excuse me sir, your deeply authoritarian side is showing.

It comes down to this: your collectivism ends where my individualism begins. Can you compel me to take an unwanted vaccine against my will? You can't? It's still my choice? Then kiss my ass.

The previous average vaccine testing duration was ~5 years. Let's not pretend that the mRNA vaccines were even close to that.

Fun fact, the Omicron BA.5 booster isn't tested at all.

This is absolutely glorious. I'm rooting for you two.
Oh absolutely settling was safest for GSK.

They settled to silence anyone that had adverse events and made them sign non disclosure agreements as part of the payout.

I trust the FDA as far as I can throw them. Suspected they were dirty for a long time and COVID proved it. To me they are an arm of the pharmaceutical industry which does everything in its power to suppress and sanction alternative medicine. Big pharma considers anything other than drug interventions or vaccines "competition".

Why do people feel compelled to mislead others with something so important. Especially today after everything that happened with the COVID-19 vaccines.

There were adverse events. There were no serious adverse events (SAEs).

Does it do anything against Babesia, Anaplasma, Bartonella, Erlichia, Epstein Barr Virus, HHV-6, Mycoplasma Fermentans, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Chlamidia trachomatis, Yersinia enterocolitica or any of the other known Lyme coinfections?
The origin story is still under debate? It's been known for 2 years that the Pangolin coronavirus was modified. Just under 97% of the the Pangolin Coronavirus matches SARS-CoV-2. What does not match? The Furin Cleavage Site. There are foreign inserts there (that aren't found in any other Coronavirus) which seem to make it more transmissible and deadly.

MSH3 Homology and Potential Recombination Link to SARS-CoV-2 Furin Cleavage Site https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fviro.2022.8348...

The study is a bit technical but a not-as-techincal summary can be found here https://nakedemperor.substack.com/p/lab-leak-theory-new-arti...

To summarize, a gene sequence from the Furin Cleavage Site found in SARS-CoV-2 shows up in a Moderna patent from 2016.

Don't take my word for it though, research it for yourself.

Re:Ask HN: How do you practice self-care? on Wednesday July 27, 2022 @05:29PM (#32257263)
Just a few random thoughts:

Feed yourself nutrituous food, not frozen microwaved garbage.

Consume intelligent, thought provoking material, not social media nonsense and battles within the comments.

Keep your self talk at least neutral, hopefully positive (nice man! That sneaking suspicion you have that you are awesome is possibly true)... but definitely not negative (you failed and honestly, you deserve it).

Make time for yourself and use it wisely... aka dont drink alone by yourself, instead work on your portfolio or another certification. Something constructive instead of destructive.

Take time to recharge, get a massage, meditate, listen to music, whatever replenishes the tank.

Celebrate your wins when they happen, however rare.

Be nice to yourself, try and like yourself, have respect for yourself. If it's not there, consider changing to eliminate the parts you dont like.

Russian too right? Or was 4 years of Russiagate just a funny coincidence
>which produces a spike protein for a short time that your body then reacts against

It was claimed previously to be 48 hours. That always seemed extremely suspicious to me as the shot is permanently altering your immune system. What would make it suddenly stop producing spike protein?

And finally this study came out:

https://www.cell.com/cell/fulltext/S0092-8674(22)00076-9

They found the spike protein persists in the body for at least 16 days post-vaccination and the antigen can be found for at least 60 days. That is longer than getting covid via infection.

It is a permanent change to your immune system which lasts forever. There is no "undo" button to getting these vaccines.

Remember when it was claimed the spike protein is out of your body in 48 hours? This study found the spike protein persists in the body for at least 16 days and the antigen can be found for at least 60 days.

https://www.cell.com/cell/fulltext/S0092-8674(22)00076-9

Thats longer than if you actually contract COVID.

So now knowing this, would you monitor for safety longer?

Let me blow up some of these arguments with a real world example: the Canadian trucker protests over vaccine mandates. Officials were all too happy to freeze suspected bank accounts and coerce services like GoFundMe into halting payouts to truckers. Just about the only way to get funds through to protesters was to use a blockchain based service like Bitcoin.

If Bitcoin didn't exist already we would have to invent something like it to deal with government overreach and centralized finance like what happened in Canada this year.

Re:Reddit moderators need to be stopped on Wednesday July 13, 2022 @01:06PM (#32085548)
When you have moderators censoring medical studies that go against the majority narrative in the midst of a pandemic, that's a problem.

Dissent should be encouraged and valued, not muzzled.

This is ridiculous, we're using BA.1 clinical data to approve BA.4 and BA.5 shots that treat a different strain.

Why not just use the original clinical trial data and say the shots are 95% effective like before? Everyone knows how well that turned out.

Lets not mince words here: we're going down the path of giving out a completely untested and unverified vaccine.

LOL @ the media doing anything besides repeating "safe and effective! safe and effective!" in regards to vaccines any time their string is pulled

Rememeber they won't just come out and say "this was made in a lab, duh". You'll have to DYOR. Here's a good starting point:

I see that this is from November 2021 when there was 40 peer reviewed studies. Any update to this for the additional 22 peer reviewed studies?
Re:The Ivermectin Guys’ Whole Thing Has Fallen Apart on Monday April 04, 2022 @02:00PM (#30909893)
>The vaccine prevented spread amazingly well, assuming the mRNA one and original strain. This changed several strains later. Even when the vaccine actually did an excellent job of preventing spread entirely

Sorry revisionist historians, the vaccine does not and never has prevented transmission of COVID. You still get infected by, get sick from and can spread the virus. Simply read the documentation from the Pfizer or Moderna mRNA clinical trials to see the claimed benefit spelled out.

The media endlessly bleating "93% effective!" was in reference to preventing serious illness, which is the only benefit it offers.

Re:The Ivermectin Guys’ Whole Thing Has Fallen Apart on Monday April 04, 2022 @01:49PM (#30909736)
The count of peer reviewed studies showing a benefit for the use of Ivermectin is now 62, and they can be found here:

https://ivmmeta.com/

The earlier the better of course, just like Tamiflu. The best results were attained when Ivermectin was used as a prophylactic.

Re:Why People Are Acting So Weird on Thursday March 31, 2022 @04:36PM (#30871921)
Now picture them wielding unlimited censorship, canceling whomever disagrees with their values, labeling whomever they want "domestic terrorists" and all the other powers that liberals have grown so fond of and abused the past few years.
Yes: Glenn Greenwald and Matt Taibbi.

Dr. Robert Malone is not a journalist but a scientist. The analysis of recent medical studies shunned by the mainstream media is worth the time investment.

Good point regarding "only myself matters". Just look at the reasons most people actually got the vaccine:

- I don't want to die!

- I don't want to be really sick!

- I don't want to lose my job!

- I want to travel!

And on the opposite side of the coin, the "for the greater good" reason:

- I want to prevent spreading the disease to my fellow man.

Is not even a benefit of the vaccine.

Re:What the Omicron wave is revealing about human immunity on Thursday February 03, 2022 @06:18PM (#30200441)
And if one's natural immunity came from a previous coronavirus infection from 10 year ago?

There is such a thing as cross reactive immunity. Look at the diamond princess cruise ship. They were locked in close quarters sharing a ventilation system for 2 weeks and only 20% of the guests tested positive.

Re:What the Omicron wave is revealing about human immunity on Thursday February 03, 2022 @06:09PM (#30200361)
Oh no, not this talking point again.

For the last time, you can spawn mutations regardless of vaccination status.
