Real-time and under-powered, no way. All the available tools (and models) today require non-negligible hardware.

Ask HN: How to pivot to a Machine Learning engineer?

Software engineer here with 10+ YOE building data (mildly) intensive applications: mainly back-end development experience (from legacy to modern/cloud-native applications, brownfields and greenfields).(1) is it wise to do this transition?(2) has anyone else here in HN done it?(3) how can I do it if my job has no ML in it?Is there an ML engineering practice that isn't focused on building models...

Was it also them who shot the World Central Kitchen aid workers?

Re:Europe to ChatGPT: disclose your sources on Friday April 28, 2023 @08:07AM (#35740292)
How will the EU enforce this? Will they go through the training dataset of each company’s AI models? Also, given that training datasets are closed source, there’s practically no way to reverse engineer the source of new models, I’m wondering what will stop companies from being fully transparent (besides ethics of course)
To avoid any unwanted matches with grep (e.g. ports 1999 and 19999), use:

Re:Ask HN: chatGPT but for a company's knowledge base? on Sunday January 15, 2023 @07:09AM (#34388812)
I'm not aware of any tool that can ingest thousands of company-specific knowledge data, and then have a chatGPT-like experience to answer questions related to that company (or product). I'd love to know what i can use to do that.
Re:OpenAI starts testing ChatGPT premium on Friday January 13, 2023 @10:08AM (#34368739)
I asked you.com's chat a very basic question: how do I build a pc? and it said " Oops, I’m still learning and I couldn’t generate an answer right now. Please try again." Not sure that's a chatGPT like AI to me.

I asked it other simple questions and got the same answer.

Notion has been approved by our...
