zooming in or out with the touch-pad is a nightmare (way to slow)
Android 14's camera shows you the URL and doesn't load it right away...

But it would be a lot faster... and I don't have much issues with the fluid in my gas car

Might not be a bad thing... it would stop a lot of spam and stop companies from using SMS for 2FA

Can you re-charge those like you fill up a gas tank?

This video helped me visualize how big of a number 1 trillion is:

Current US debt is almost 34 trillions? https://www.usdebtclock.org/

Do they also censor anti-Israeli views? because they do deserve to be hated for all the innocent people that they kill.
Re:How to make LLMs go fast on Friday December 22, 2023 @07:51PM (#38740589)
Copilot tells me all the time that it doesn't want to answer my questions on multiple topics, never political and not usually talking about illegal things (talking about something illegal in itself isn't illegal anyways). So if you don't care about political correctness, you should care about censorship.

And 2 days ago, I was able to use MS' copilot (not Github's) to generate Python scripts, and now it tells me that it is incapable. Just tried it right now and the functionality came back though..

They just keep removing functionalities. To me that is pretty much censoring or whatever you want to call it. The quality degrades even faster then Google search quality.

There's Youtubers that find call centers, hack into their network, watch them on their camera systems and mess with them[0]... surely the authorities could do more

Fast is great but uncensored is better

Re:First look at Microsoft 365 Copilot on Thursday December 21, 2023 @08:16PM (#38729667)
Did Copilot @microsoft.com (not Github) just lose its ability to write code? Just yesterday I was able to write python scripts and now it tells me that isn't able to.
Re:Firefox 121 defaults to Wayland on Linux on Thursday December 21, 2023 @01:52AM (#38717798)
why do you say "you're welcome"?
That doesn't make any sense... The only reasons why you would think they are not restricting supply would be if demand varies randomly widely or if the people planning production and/or purchasing are incompetent.
Re:My failed attempt at using a closet as an office on Wednesday December 20, 2023 @10:47PM (#38716782)
Why would that concern you? and yes you can get it either way.

Glad they are not the main producer of high tech chips then (AKA TSMC)...

I just switched back to Windows after 20 years on Linux and I regret it... I'll be switching back ASAP... everything just works better by default on Linux for what I do (I don't game much but Steam is pretty nice on Linux anyways).

if they finally stop extending it...

Re:VW is putting buttons back in cars on Monday December 18, 2023 @03:42PM (#38687929)
Basically, I can access it without looking while keeping my arm on the arm rest
At least, unlike copyright, patents don't last forever...
