It looks like my personal instance of archivebox does such things for me.
Email is a great thing, I use it heavily.
Why newsletters doens't work for me:
1. I don't want to give my email.
2. I don't want to receive spam.
3. I don't like long letters with massive amount of different news (even in single domain).
In my view newsletters/digests take more time to read and I prefer to receive small pieces of topics more often (what I'm interested in specifically, not whole the editor choice) than to recevie bunch of them on weekly basis.
Cannot stay away, because I'm a guy who used Google Reader and moved all my RSS stuff 1-2 years before Google Reader was finally closed.
I tried to use Feedly and other tools, but at that time I decided to use rss2email.
Right now I have my own tool (
https://github.com/livelace/gosquito) for data gathering from different sources. One way to use it - just put news into mail system (I'm Zimbra user -
https://paste.pics/7f48e9ca655de96f2160ecbff474bbca, and I use internal search engine heavily).
I don't depend on external services and can process data as I want.
~9-11 months ago moved my confluence content to git repo and install on my mobile devices gitnex (gitea mobile app) and since that i use that for notes and wiki.
Gitea. Also, there are GitNex (mobile app for Gitea) and Jenkins plugin.
It looks like you have different problems here:
1. Credible sources.
2. Tools and methods for searching and matching.
In my opinion:
1. It's very subjective. Pepople just believe in different things. It's hard and time consuming. There is no the single point of truth.
2. For this purpose I wrote https://github.com/livelace/gosquito and I extract different keywords (tech, people, orgs etc.) from information flows. It frees my time heavily.
