I will be graduating from a certificate course at UCLA next month. I have a BEng in Computer Technology. I am currently working part-time as a Software Engineer at UCLA for a research project. I have been freelancing since 2010 mostly working on web apps. I'm good at full-stack JavaScript. I recently wrote a PAM module in Go and I absolutely love the language. I made a Twitter tool when I was 17 and it's a hit with 200k+ users to this day (http://www.tweriod.com). I did an internship at a startup in Berlin in the summer of 2015 mostly working on AngularJS apps. I am willing to learn new tech and move further down the stack.

Re:The Hiring Post on Saturday March 07, 2015 @02:09AM (#9161284)
I applied for an internship at Matasano. I was asked about office preference and VISA sponsorship. Now I feel bad I didn't get an interview.
Re:It's the Latency, Stupid (1996) on Saturday May 31, 2014 @10:12PM (#7827918)
I've connection from a tier-1 network in India. It's a 6 mbps dedicated line (a luxury for most) connected with fibre. ping 8.8.8.8 has delay time of ~40 ms. How's that possible considering the calculations given in this article?
Re:The new VirginAmerica.com on Saturday May 24, 2014 @01:36AM (#7792694)
Well, on stock Android browser, there's just a redirect loop.
Aha. I thought environments could only be used for setting additional HTTP headers! Thanks for this.
Postman works great. The only feature I would like to see added is to somehow easilu swap a base URL in requests. So I have to maintain just one collection per API and not multiple collections for multiple API deployments (production, testing, staging).

Urges me to startup before all the relationships kick in my life! Being young certainly helps.

Re:PhpStorm 7.0 final release is here on Tuesday October 22, 2013 @10:38AM (#6592176)
PHPStorm is cool. Haven't looked back after switching to it almost an year ago. Worth the money. Plus, they offer discounted licenses for students and open source projects!
Re:The Indian and his insatiable appetite for the college degree on Monday September 30, 2013 @09:30AM (#6469471)
Well, you were lucky your parents let you skip out on college. I was kind of forced to do engineering. Even when I got into a rather crappy college (I had started working for a start-up which never took off rather than study for entrance exams). But hey, whatever.
Re:Free HTML Starter Templates for Bootstrap on Sunday September 29, 2013 @02:36PM (#6466059)
Thanks! This is awesome. I'm always looking at the official examples whenever I start a new project. This is so much better.
Re:Hacker News London meetup, Wednesday 25th September on Tuesday September 10, 2013 @07:14AM (#6359329)
Meetups like these generally have an overlapping crowd from other tech community meetups like RoR, PHP, WordPress.
Re:PhpMyAdmin Turns 15 on Monday September 09, 2013 @07:37AM (#6352830)
The new AJAXified interface is slower and more inconsistent. The inline edit feature never works and has a very subtle feedback. But hey, it's ubiquitous and it gets the job done. However, I've started using SequelPro on OS X as a replacement which works pretty great.
