Indeed it is. And I was sitting next to the author of this blog the entire time.
One question for the author. Have you ever written a framework? Yeah that's right.

As I as reading this I thought how eerily familiar to Huffington Post this sounded. Then I remembered who Huffington Post was sold to.

The main difference between then and now is the heavy metal guitar solo used as the background music.
As long as your working set of data and indexes fit in RAM then it should perform well.
I really enjoyed the Yottaa talk which is going up soon. It deals with using MongoDB for analytics.

This could be invaluable to me. I plan on quitting my job at the startup where I currently work to move to SF/SV (Prefer SF) and look for work. Resources for networking, places to work on projects and cheap places to crash.
Assange has claimed he is about to release information that targets the Russian government and Russian businessmen (reported 10/26).
The thing is, even if he does release it, most Russian citizens won't hear about it or won't care. Anything even remotely incriminating published about Russian businessmen and I can tell you he will probably want to find a good hiding place.
I hate resumes but people still ask for them. LinkedIn profiles are also in high demand and the last thing I want to do is maintain another profile. I'd rather be coding.

Before I had any kind of professional network to help me find jobs I had to take contract jobs at places like banks. In many cases, the approach to solving problems and technology used was just face-in-palm bad. But as an outsider, I was only there to crank out code and not make decisions. How do I list experience on a resume in which I don't really want to talk about?
I have a System76 laptop and I really like it. The built in speakers are terrible but I usually use headphones so who cares. The touch pad buttons are a little stubborn too.
Other than that boot-up time is pretty fast, and I don't spend hours trying to find drivers for hardware. And it cost me half of what a Macbook Pro would.
exercise produces serotonin and dopamine to make you relaxed and focused. It's great stuff.
I have married a Russian and I can also confirm this. Adrenaline junkies galore in Russia
sae.spare [at] gmail is my email address for contacting me.
Thanks for the input. This is becoming an adventure.

I work for a start-up in a smaller city. I was lucky to find this job when I did and now we've been acquired by a very large company which will remain anonymous. With the acquisition, things have changed we have to use the technologies listed in their corporate policy.Any enjoyment I had working here is now gone.My family and I have made the decision that we want to move to San Francisco. The LINQ support in the original driver is great.
This shows a very poor understanding of NoSql options.
My opinion is that it is more important to learn programming paradigms. That way you are able to decide what language you believe is the best and learn it easily.
For example, I've never programmed in Clojure but I can read quite a bit of it because I understand functional programming. It wouldn't take me very long to get the hang of it if I chose to learn it.
