I have tried this very same thing on https://grimoire.bio. Large corpus of biological knowledge with detailed visualizations that are shown immediately upon searching, but adding LLM answer when missing/needed.

I wonder how a 'world model' for a user interface could look like. Some loose constraints, understanding of what is possible and what not, but then each slice generated on the spot as the user traverses it. The model understanding the user's intent based on context so that e.g. when they right-click over an image, sensible options show up rather than a traditionally defined menu.

I don't think it would be a good user experience. I just crave the feeling of navigating such 'world'.

It’s still fairly limited in terms of how many biological objects are visualized, but I plan to add to the corpus daily.

The speed of the search and answer is mainly driven by Jev.

And just to highlight some of the more ‘complete’ pieces, here is a guide to protein engineering: https://grimoire.bio/protein-engineering

Speaking of single cells, here is a detailed model of the eukaryotic cell that includes animations showing Transcription and Translation (DNA -> RNA, mRNA -> protein): https://grimoire.bio/eukaryotic-cell

This started as a fun experiment, but I now use Jev on my mac as an advanced auto-correct. Much better than any other option I tried. https://levmiseri.com/nospace (the no space being more of a gimmick, but the autocorrection is good)

Show HN: Game where you control a swarm

https://nohope.io

Why I thought this might be interesting for HN – there is a dynamic-code-insertion feature. When you reach 2000 units, you will get an input field where you can describe whatever behavior or command for your swarm and an LLM will create a code that will perform it. Can be something as simple as ‘make a heart’ or more complex, like ‘turn blue when enemies are nearby’. Or describing some kiting...

Re:Advanced Autocorrect Powered by Jev on Sunday September 27, 2026 @01:46PM (#49868969)
A small idea that has been surprisingly useful for me already. I tried to write without spaces for a day - hooking all my writings to this system - and it made me measurably faster by the end of it. It takes getting used to... and unused to. I'm still not sure if this has some merit, or if it's just a fun experiment.
As described in the blog post – e.g. image via a camera feed.
Thanks! Made some updates to it to strengthen the corrections/splits. Should work substantially better now.
I had an idea for a 'write without space, basicallylikethis' and Jev (given how cheap it is) just being asked after every key press where inserting spaces (or making typo correction) would make sense.

The demo is here: https://levmiseri.com/nospace

Hello HN!There is an obvious abundance of choice when it comes to text editors, but they all seem to be either too simple and minimal, or overly complex, distracting and difficult to use. Kraa is trying to strike the right balance between a 'complete' feature set (with some unique features you won't find anywhere else – e.g. the multi-leaf view or our real-real-time chat), while keeping the UI...

(FWIW I like the branding. Hugging Face doesn't seem to struggle because of its name either)

> f developers spend only about 15 percent of their time typing in the editor

I think this is missing an important detail. Lots of time was spent on non-coding stuff, because coding used to be more committal and hence expensive. With how quickly one can code up a quick prototype or even production-ready code these days, the code becomes the communication tool as well.

What a cool concept. Never heard of this before, but I’m sure it’d be easy to get used to. Now I want a watch like this.

Thanks, should be fixed now, though there is some deeper performance issue I need to investigate.

They are very nice! I'd love to see them 'in action' – I'd suggest something similar to what is on clocks.dev if you click in the bottom right corner on the 'timeline' feature: https://clocks.dev/clock/824d7b87d123
