Have you looked at AWS's AI-DLC setup?

This is about the boardgame, not the language?
Re:Ask HN: What is the best thing you read in 2024? on Wednesday December 25, 2024 @12:49PM (#42509985)
The Dungeon Crawler Carl books are great!

I discovered them by accident, and they're one of my favorite series this far.

What is the expressivity of this transformation tool/language compared to e.g. JSONPath or JMESPath?

Author here, this is my first blogpost. I'm happy to receive feedback! :)
Re:Relational is more than SQL on Saturday September 16, 2023 @06:23AM (#37533560)
This +1. I've been burned before when using ORMs which translate simple-looking queries to terribly inneficient SQL statements underwater.
Looks awesome!

It has been a while since a new version has been released. Has anything been published regarding future plans? Or is the current version "feature complete" for the foreseeable future?

Re:Show HN: Wallpaper Does Not Exist on Thursday October 13, 2022 @11:00AM (#33191939)
Yeah, this is really a shame. Got a nice wallpaper which I wanted to set a background... only to find out the low resolution.
Yes, I prefer physical books as they allow for easier annotating & switching back and forth between pages.
Re:Open Logic Project on Saturday July 02, 2022 @05:02PM (#31962379)
Do these books also have an accompanying solution manual?

I couldn't find them on the website. I'd love to work my way through these books. However, I'm afraid the reality will be that I'll get stuck on solution, can't figure it out within an hour, and lose motivation.

Re:Ask HN: What's the best book you read in 2021? on Friday December 24, 2021 @04:12AM (#29671866)
Non-Fiction: The Pyramid Principle - Logic in Writing and Thinking.

Although the writing techniques the author presents sound obvious in hindsight, having them all-in one place as an comprehensive framework you can follow helped me a lot for the writing and research in my work

Fiction: The Black Lizard Big Book of Locked-Room Mysteries

A curated and annotated collection of locked-room mystery stories. All the stories are accompagnied by a small introduction into the author and the main character written by the curator. His enthousiasm shows in these small introductions, making the stories themselves even better.

Re:Rule-Based Expert Systems (1984) on Sunday December 05, 2021 @10:57AM (#29450174)
+1, I'm currently investigating rule-based systems at my job and I would love to understand the theory behind them better.
It would also be great if you had some kind of declarative specification language which could generate (parts of) buildings.

Re:Oracle Free Java License on Wednesday September 15, 2021 @03:57PM (#28543631)
Now I don't get it at all anymore... I'm happy I moved away from Java.
Thanks for the tips! Yes, would you perhaps be up to grab a cup of coffee and have a chat about ontologies? :)
Any word from the wise for those who want to get into ontologies?

Furthermore, do you know about any good resources regarding the process of capturing information into models? I've found books about solutions like Ecore & OWL, but I fail to find books about the practice of modelling in general.

Thanks for the pointer!
Thank you! I've never heard of this tool before. I just looked into it, it looks quite interesting!

Ask HN: Examples of inuitive yet powerful filter, slice and dice toolbars?

I'm tasked with looking into how we can add more advanced filtering capabilities to our tables - next to simple text-based search. Since this is a common problem which others will also face, let's compile a list which people can draw on for inspiration. Two examples I'm particularly fond of:- GitLab Issue Filters. The user is seamlessly guided by suggestions...
