Spent a bit of time with the app. I use Zencoder plugins for my personal projects therefore already familiar with their ecosystem.

First of all kudos for the nice UI. I like when apps looks well. Onboarding process was smooth. I paired it with Zencoder's agent (as mentioned I use their VSCode plugin and already had a sub).

I used it to implement a small refactoring for my side project. What I like compared to plugins, I did not have to switch between agents or explicitly ask to write a plan/spec. It's I guess one of the core ideas behind the app and feels really AI-ish because it's not code editor (similar to claude code). The only thing I missed in the process is rendered markdown for previews. But I did not used the app for long, maybe there is an option to render markdown.

Overall great experience so far. Gonna explore it more. Wanna try it with Gemini and Claude Code. Again kudos it's not locked to use only Zencoder's agents.

Re:Ask HN: What are your favourite developer blogs? on Saturday September 02, 2017 @10:17AM (#15156078)
+1
NodeJS + Express + PostgreSQL(MongoDB) + React + ReactNative. Maybe some Go and Python.
Btw, I'm thinking to create iOS app as well. Anyone will use it?
Awesome answers here. Some self marketing - I developed a parser for some engineering blogs. I did it for myself, and created a simple web app to serve content - http://kubiq.co. I'm going to add more companies soon. Enjoy!
Re:Ask HN: What's your go-to back end for simple projects? on Friday November 18, 2016 @10:40AM (#12987464)
Node(Express) or Python(Flask) backed by PostgreSQL/MongoDB. Love both.
Re:Sanic – Python 3.5+ web server that's written to go fast on Saturday October 15, 2016 @02:23PM (#12715071)
This is awesome, Python is my number one, Node.js already has much larger ecosystem for async i/o. If we need something faster for heavy computations Go is a good choice.

But maybe in near future Python will grow significantly, who knows.

The most epic challenge is to start and get back to work when thing will go wrong. Do it, you'll learn a lot. It will be hard. Post it on Github, ask questions on SO and I hope to see it here as 'Show HN: My f*ckn awesome personal assistant' =)

Bare metal providers like Hetzner are different beasts. In my opinion, you use bare metal when your server load doesn't change much in time. It's too hard to scale fast with bare metal providers, because they need up to 2-3(not always) days to setup server. Virtual machines are managed more simply.

You have to have the a server with the same configuration or a snapshot or provision a new one...

Thanks.

Thank you. I'll look at consul.io closer

Using snapshot to create a new droplet and update some configuration files should be fast either. Probably, longer than 1 minute but not much, I guess.

I don't know. But I'll figure it out (I hope).

Autoscaling for Digital Ocean?

I've started a thread at Digital Ocean. I want to implement such a system (I could not find any). Any questions, recommendations, "don't invent the wheel" comments?) Does any DO customer need such a tool?I am not a DevOps guru, but it seems like an interesting project. AWS costs almost twice more than analogous DO servers, but AWS has way more features.DO community thread:...

Is it pure Express without modifications? Shame to me, but I completely forgot about Sails, I knew it exists, but for some reasons I decided to use pure Express at work.
I've never heard about this project before. I searched for an existed solutions, but couldn't find an appropriate tool, so I decided to build one.
Ooops.... Thank you. Of course, it should be so.
I'm not a JS expert. Can you suggest the better way? I know that controllers are sandboxed, but I still like to add some 'namespacing'
