You can run a GLM with GDPR. Many companies will rent compute. That was our idea but we dropped for now.
Just so you know, I'm jealous.
Re:Up to US$5.5M funding to move your startup to Qatar on Sunday October 04, 2026 @02:33PM (#49956537)
I was present at the founding of several European, American, Singaporean , Australian and unfortunately also one Dubai company. They promise everything, but we've had problems like nowhere else. Unclear rules, unclear costs, fines, expectations. They promise that you can arrange everything remotely, but that's just a big lie. I'd recommend Singapore first, if you really must leave Europe or the USA.

The problem is till when. In September all apps non authorized by Google will be removed from Android phones. NewPipe is one of them, the best app for Yt video watching.

My opinion. Sell your services on your own domain.
This is a really good question. If possible, I use other providers because Ticketmaster is a disaster. Since I'm not in one of the "big" countries, registration was already a nightmare. For me personally, their technological solution is a disaster. I've already wondered if this is done on purpose.
Price and getting consistent data.
I just have to say "Thank you" to Chinese open source LLMs. Withouth them almost nothing can be done in the last year. Everything will be behind paywalls.
Re:Google Just Patented the End of Your Website on Tuesday March 24, 2026 @04:27PM (#47508670)
Its time again, to stop using Google. DuckDuckGo should be ok for most of us.
Previous crises have taught us that governments will ALWAYS bail out banks and large companies, so these companies can manipulate the market, stock prices...as if nothing had happened in the past.
We'll see, the war is not yet over. Maybe years.
Re:Why AI is Making Your RAM more expensive on Sunday March 22, 2026 @04:29PM (#47481810)
I still belive that the increase of thebprice for Ram, disks, gpus...is purelly manipulated by the biggest AI companies to increase the price of those companies+Nvidia. Speculations, nothing else. Talk about the shortages and the price goes up, even ifvthe shortage does not exists.

Looks nice, very nice.

Why don't you use your local open source llm, without the interaction of big models? I mean, more work, but you don't need to pay your cut to them. Just asking.

Nice ro read. At home, we use 3 tablets and one television on one Google account. All of us have own Google accounts on own phones. I have different Google account on different machines (linux, mac, win10). The first Google account have some random ads on TV and tablets. Practically without real content for each of us. On phones are more targeted (wife, kids) but still randomised.

The strange thigs come on accounts that are on my working machines. All are on same IP range like other devices, the difference is the OS. All ads are different. Sometimes womans stuff, aliexpress, amazon. Without any logic.

Im coming from a small European country but all ads on working machines are american or chinese (english language). On other devices are in my language.

Any idea?
