The commenter also says nothing about being penalized for not taking shifts. If they sign up for a shift, they are expected to work that shift. It is a completely different model than Uber Eats, which he can sign into or out of at any given time, without penalty.

Re:A Room-Temperature Superconductor? New Developments on Tuesday August 01, 2023 @12:44PM (#36958546)
Well, if every thread where this question was asked on every other article that made it to the front page, every article/news/blog that covers this topic, every youtube video, every twitter thread, wikipedia, and a quick google search can't answer that for ya - you might just be out of luck.
Do you have any information about this? Where did you hear this?

Re:Teach your LLM to answer with facts, not fiction on Sunday July 23, 2023 @10:50PM (#36842572)
I agree. Use the LLM to construct a better search query, then return those results and the query to the user. The user can modify the "optimized" query and repeat until a usefull answer is obtained.
"not washing their hands" being the key part. it isn't dangerous to handle diver weights or clean up a shooting range. if the traces aren't cleaned off your hands before touching the face/eyes, eating, smoking cigarettes, etc, the lead will get into the body and cause problems.

Brother: "Hey, the guy you are looking for is my brother, Ted. Here's a sample of my DNA, my parents' DNA, and Ted's baby teeth. He lives somewhere in Atlanta, probably using a false identity."
Typing out the instructions, copying and pasting the data, then analyzing the output for correctness is faster than running `sort -h` ?

You can get an access token from settings which can be provided in the URL. Set your search engine URL to include the token, and your searches just work, even in Private / Incognito.

You are free to chase whatever you want. Same goes for those who have chosen FSD.

make the system output a sketch. boom - problem solved.
Yes, this implies that trezor developers know of fake devices claiming to run that version so they skipped that version number to ensure that no one who sees that version number would confuse it with an actual version.

It rained, watch out for puddles.

It rained, watch out for flooding.

The word used is "rain" in both cases. Degrees of danger is communicated elsewhere. Same with "fallout".

Lookalikes / impersonators who present as such, probably not an issue. Claiming to actually be the person might be identity theft?

Looks like they nailed that one.

The journalist quit after the pedophilla charges were edited out of the article.
Creating + lending an audiobook should be fine, the same as creating an ebook. As long as only 1 copy is loaned out per physical item owned (can't loan the ebook if someone has the audiobook), I don't see the difference. What if they create a physical braille version and loan that out to blind people? 1-to-1 lending should be acceptable in any case.
Sounds like they are on disability because they experience DMT-like effects without taking DMT.

"Customer support rep doesn't give real-time location to caller claiming to be a police officer in a dire emergency"

Good!

Seems like the process for redirecting callers claiming to be police to someone who can verify their claim needs to be provided to the supoort representatives.

Where can I learn more about this? I find it difficult to believe this is true for "the majority of people".

Re:Soylent Acquired by Starco Brands on Wednesday February 22, 2023 @01:25PM (#34900244)
With Soylent, I found that if I wait until I'm hungry, I will still be hungry after I drink a glass. If I drink it before I get hungry, I don't get hungry.

Instead of my usual mealtimes of 8am, 1pm, 6pm I drink Solent at 8am, 12pm and 4:30pm; then I don't feel hungry throughout the day.
