Same here, most of my musical taste stems from their picks in some form or another.
Genuinely interested in this console generation for some reason, seemed to be so important for the transition to online, but then we saw another reversal right after. It’s mistakes like this that I think caused Sony to re-pivot. Thanks for sharing.
I think I was just venting this morning more than anything, I have to assume my interview went worse than theirs or I’ll just end up incredibly bitter.
Guess I’m just another in the mix here, I’ve been putting out job apps for some time and thought I had a promotion coming that was given to someone else for what appears to be political reasons as I’m more qualified. At least I have more motivation to move somewhere else I suppose because being passed on for someone I have helped grow daily is just the icing on the cake and shows how blind the company is to their ever growing list of internal issues.
You should trust your judgement on this one, it already sounds like you’re leaning towards turning him away and just want confirmation. If he doesn’t fit your company culture why would you hire him? If he were a day to day employee, would you still hire him if he wasn’t a culture fit?
Since nobody has mentioned BigCommerce, I wanted to throw it out there. I'm not sure what your specific needs are, but you could use the free template or one of the paid templates.
Also currently 25, and working tech support at an eCommerce company. I wish I had done more coding earlier on, but I've also matured a lot more because of the path I chose. I also understand technology as a whole, and I'm not in college debt.
The position I'm in involves some basic coding, but it has the possibility for more involved work. I can understand the fulfillment you're speaking of, which is another reason I chose a different path. Life's a balance. There's no right answer to this, but I'm sure OP and ourselves will find our way.

This is really great advice, I just started a project like this and there's a lot I need to go back and map-out. I feel better when I'm just coding, but I get that's part of the process, I just haven't seen anyone explaining it.
Appears to only be certain accounts, my "spam" email is getting loads of this.
I've gotta agree with this, I feel like I should have a subscription like this and couldn't talk myself into it even when I was trying.
What's so cool about Japanese candy? There are a ton of other services out there like this one, why should I get this one? These are the questions I had that talked me out of it.
I say this hoping it helps, I felt really inclined to want to subscribe from past interest and I don't know what keeps me from doing so. Best of luck, and maybe I will in the future regardless ;)

If it makes you guys feel better, I'm 25 and it still feels impossible to find platonic friendliness.

I haven't taken a deep dive in to CMS in a while, but last I left it Joomla was my favorite. It looks like WordPress has continued rocketing upward and Drupal has some fight left.I am curious what others are favoring right now as I am trying to start a personal site and don't want to sink a lot of time into the setup. Bonus points if you have a lesser known project that piques your interest.
Love this guy's videos, recommend to check out his channel.
Open Source OSX/macOS, at least versions prior. Microsoft is going to beat Apple to it if it doesn't happen soon.

I'm starting a group for learning to code at my workplace, and an early hurdle we're reaching is being able to communicate outside of work. We use Slack at my workplace, but I don't think that'll be the best form of communication for this.I was thinking either Google Groups or a phpBB forum, but neither of these are a perfect fit either. These may be the best option, but I was hoping others...
I really like CodeNewbie, her guests will motivate me to keep grinding.
There's a really good book, and this is part of the premise. Python is a great language, but I can't see it being viable for large projects. I do want to note that it doesn't say Python was part of problem, but in retrospect it seemed like the project was ahead of its time and the technology wasn't there yet.
