Re:Show HN: Giraffocus – iOS app blocker with a mindful pause on Friday September 26, 2025 @03:12PM (#45389969)
We all know the feeling: you unlock your phone for “just a second” and lose 20 minutes (or even more!). Giraffocus interrupts that cycle with a gentle mindful pause, so you can catch yourself and save hours each week.

I built Giraffocus for myself, to stop doomscrolling. The mindful pause gives you a few seconds to reconsider whether you really want to open the app.

I’d be super happy if you tried the app. Any feedback is more than welcome!

I'm a product-focused iOS engineer specializing in high-scale apps used by millions of users. 8 years of experience in mobile development. I'm open for any mobile related work, Web3 projects are welcomed. I'm open to work in Swift, SwiftUI, React Native. If there's need I can switch to a different technology. I would love to work at a company with a mission that resonates with me and with a product that brings real value to the users.

Ask HN: What are the Web3 companies hiring mobile developers?

Hi!What are the Web3 companies hiring mobile developers? Ideally remote friendly? So far I've found: - Blockchain - Strike - WalletConnect - OpenSea - Alchemy - SuperRare - Phantom - Rarible - ConsesSys - Gemini - Spruce - HeirI'm currently looking at the market for the next job, but to be honest it's quite hard to find open positions for iOS engineers in Web3, so any help is highly appreciated!

Would it be possible to have paid extensions? I mean, let's say a I got an extension on Google Chrome which I sell with Gumroad and I'd like to integrate it with your web browser as well.
Thanks for the comment! Yes, I'm going to add filters soon.
A product based company creates their own products, e.g: Spotify, Sumo Logic, Twitter.

What isn't a product company? Agencies, software houses, e.g: EPAM.
