wow this is awesome, should hopefully reduce the rather steep initial legal costs for early stage startups
For the scheduled ones, I think I did receive some prior notice, I might have gotten particularly unlucky with a bunch of emergency/network/etc. maintenance affecting many of my servers simultaneously.
ironically, we moved away from linode last month because they kept doing maintenance and turning off our machines without telling us
how are you quickly failing over from one to another?
things seem to be working for me, but Heroku seems a little off still. I got an error when I tried to view my app logs though, which is a little scary
looks great, can't wait to try it
small nitpik: the github link links to creating the app on cloudfuji
why do I feel like I'm on Reddit all of a sudden
are you guys sharding redis? or does it all fit in a single machine?

I love Divvy - it allows me to set sizes for my windows really easily (opposite approach of automatically tiling them), but it works much better for me than anything else I've seen
not during college finals!

one of my biggest issues with asana is that it doesn't make it easy to see due dates, weekly to dos etc. for tasks (let alone real prioritization). I really suggest they put in a facebook-notification style section so I can see what I have due in my near future
how very un-apple, the original voice commands wouldn't even tell you the time
This is pretty cool, I thought it would overlap with Chrome's own tools but its a useful set of utilities that complement it
San Francisco - Thirst

hmm it just throws an error for me when I call gemfresh
I actually liked using this, really friendly and easy to use interface. I would definitely use this for a personal website or a small project
I think this will probably hurt Qoura more than anything, new members are not going to want to "pay" experts limited points (I imagine this will turn into "reputation points" like SO that people can share) to do anything
Side note: I wonder if bounties on SO are working?
