Re:KV_log: High-performance embedded key-value database on Tuesday July 08, 2025 @03:34PM (#44503260)
Not sure if the fastest disk-based KV db engine. It lacks comparison with FASTER KV, CandyStore, HaloDB and Bitcast. Any other suggestions? -- edit -- Oh, maybe Aerospike. But most of these are memory-based, so not a good comparison
I made this mistake, hoping that our new product would save the (software) company, and it ended up bankrupt. Sometimes firings are needed!

Re:SQLite is not a toy database on Thursday March 25, 2021 @03:20PM (#26584278)

For replication of SQLite there are some options:

http://litereplica.io - single-master replication

http://litesync.io - multi-master replication

https://aergolite.aergo.io - highest security replication, using a small footprint blockchain

Re:AergoLite – SQLite with Blockchain on Wednesday December 02, 2020 @11:06AM (#25277657)
I never heard of it. It appears that bedrock is for datacenters while AergoLite is decentralized, installed directly on each device. There may be many differences though.
Re:Numenta Platform for Intelligent Computing on Wednesday September 30, 2020 @03:31PM (#24642747)
It is community maintained here:

https://github.com/htm-community

But I guess that the focus on Numenta now is on new deeper ideas, mainly related to grid cells and processing of spatial data on mini-columns

For kids... on LinkedIn... C'mon!
Re:Microsoft using GitHub to promote their products on Tuesday September 29, 2020 @02:38PM (#24631370)
Off course it is not. Just by being their product is the main metrics to be displayed there. This is not the first time I see this, but now it is obvious to me that they are manipulating this.
Re:Poll: Why are you still using Windows 7? on Tuesday September 29, 2020 @01:29PM (#24630579)
Because Windows 10 sucks and is a spy machine and sometimes we need an installation for testing apps on this OS before release
