You can "unfollow" people that you have added, so that their posts no longer show up on your news feed. You still have them added as a friend, you just don't see their posts without visiting their profile page.
This seems to be the most obvious thing they're missing. I can't stand trying to read through HN comments without a greasemonkey script.

These title changes are getting ridiculous. The original title was actually descriptive. I have no idea what this article is about without going to the comments or clicking on it. The whole point of a link title is to describe the link.

Is there some benefit to making users scroll through every single comment? Reddit has this feature by default. I use a GreaseMonkey script that adds the functionality to HN, and when I browse from another device, I'm reminded how tedious it is to scroll through a long comment thread just to get to the next root comment.
Do you also get mad when people use the word "guys" to refer to more than one person of either sex?
I wish there was an easy way to save the current view as a PNG. I could set it to full screen and use Print Screen, but the app icon and interface buttons would need to be edited out.
How do you increase your rating? I've got an 18/3 win/loss ratio, but I'm still at the default 1500.
It's working for me in FF 24.0.
They say it isn't the truth. They aren't trying to censor it, they're trying to get the truth out. How is that censorship?
There are keyboard shortcuts to manually sync audio/video.
Can someone please tell me what this whole "mess" is? Apparently I've completely missed whatever happened.
And of course, no image is available.
Yea I've got the exact same suggestions.
This doesn't seem very profitable when so many textbooks come out with a new edition every year.
A download link for each song? You can get them via a browser add-on like DownloadHelper for Firefox.
I'm 20 and use it all the time. Don't people buy used things anymore?
Not surprising. If it was trending on Twitter that would be news.
And even if Boxopus claimed to protect you like some VPNs do, unless they also encrypt the files before uploading them to Dropbox, wouldn't you still be at legal risk with Dropbox? Or are Dropbox contents automatically encrypted upon upload so that employees have no way of knowing what they contain?
Guess they went with Redhat then?
