In some stretches of highways in India, people will throw nails on road and the only nearby repair shop will be theirs.
Disney will also own Hotstar if the deal goes through which is currently one of the most popular streaming service in India.
The problem with that is many sites have password requirements which requires password to be of a certain length and some arbitrary requirements.
My cable provider also has a unique code which flashes on TV randomly. I could provide a photo or video of it if you are interested later when I reach home.

I believe India may be contributing to the price increase due to the whole demonetisation thing going on here.

Re:Xiaomi’s first laptop is a Macbook Air rival on Wednesday July 27, 2016 @02:56PM (#12175578)
Well that phrasing is misleading I admit. But what would the reaction be if Microsoft started to have security updates every three months or so for Windows.
Re:Xiaomi’s first laptop is a Macbook Air rival on Wednesday July 27, 2016 @05:31AM (#12171520)
They do security updates for Redmi 1S regularly though afaik. They also update their phones with the new version of MIUI. MIUI 8 is coming for Redmi 1S next month. [1]

The best thing about Xiaomi is that they support their products very well. Almost all of their phones get security updates each month. That is a rare thing in Android nowadays especially with Motorola announcing that they will stop updating their phones with the new security updates. [1]

Re:Why Online Voting Is a Danger to Democracy on Tuesday June 14, 2016 @08:15AM (#11901485)
No party has dominated elections in India over the years since the EVM has been introduced. The Election Commission is the autonomous authority responsible for conducting all elections in India and there has been no information of corruptions regarding them till now.
Re:Uber Turns to Saudi Arabia for $3.5B Cash Infusion on Thursday June 02, 2016 @01:43AM (#11820613)
What happens when there is a surge? There is also Pay by Cash option for Uber now to in India. Who gets the money at these times.

Uber also offers bonuses if they complete a set amount of rides per day. There was a problem recently due to this when a driver fall asleep and the passenger had to drive the car. [0]

I have also experienced Uber drivers asking for a new ride to somewhere nearby using the Cash option after I completed a ride just so that they can increase the number of completed trips.

It is amazing but Agents of SHIELD did suffer due to that. Most of the episodes until the Captain America 2 tie over episode was very lackluster. Let's see how they will handle the new season.
Re:Game about squares on Sunday July 27, 2014 @04:37PM (#8093892)
Finished the game after some two-three hours. The last level and the 31st level were the most difficult for me. I know that the statistics page that no identifying information is showed but it would have been interesting to see some individual stats.

Indian judiciary is mostly good and most of the persons can go out on bail and easily get the case dismissed.

It's the religious nuts you have to fear.

Persona is not working when I enable this addon.
That's one of my main pet peeves about fantasy novels. The only author I know who has introduced long term changes in a fantasy world is Brandon Sanderson in his fantasy series Mistborn.
