Well that's all ok then isn't it? Let's just stop the discussion right there. Jesus fucking christ - I'm guessing you're an only child.
God what an utterly stupid and pointless opinion.
It's just Ivy League stupidity.
Battle of pointless privileged idiots at a pointless privileged institution.
I only quick charge my car. And have no problems. What does it matter if battery longevity is slightly affected?
Get over yourselves. From an outside perspective I am concerned about the US’s treatment of its own minorities. Have you heard how Trump talks about minorities?! Sorry but no, from where I stand I don’t see any difference on this between China and the US. And before anyone says anything about detention centres, I’m sorry but you can’t have a prison populations in the millions made up mostly of minority people and point fingers there.
No thanks, while the US protects its digital economy from Chinese companies, it is also slapping tariffs (or is threatening) on European goods.
The US doesn’t have any friends any more because it acting like a shit to them all. Meanwhile every day it looks more like a dictatorship with no regard for its populace. Honestly it’s time the rest of the western world moved on. Relationship over.

No it doesn't. The basis of the claim is a set of clearly communicated shortcomings.
The uses of the words “brutal” and “fierce” are good examples of American xenophobia. Aldi pays its low-wage staff a living wage (far above the minimum required by law) in the UK and elsewhere. Walmart, no chance.
I can't think of an example of this cycle in human history. It sounds great, though.
Sorry but I can’t see this as anything but akin to a victim-blaming argument.
Funny I find it uplifting. The human experience is universal.
The idea that ecosystems are self balacning and always bounce back is discredited science. It’s still a popular idea in mainstream discussion, though.
It is great to see this problem highlighted but herein we have found a line that some people find hard to walk. Real shame this person [whose voice is in the video] has created such a distraction.
Maybe in the US it is not considered racist to mock an Indian accent but elsewhere it is.

No. Westminster government has been obsessed with London as a finance centre to the exclusion of the rest of the country. Leaving the EU will only make things worse in London.
I heard the Daily Mail is looking for staff.
If you're in the UK then the appeal is that they will be available in the UK.
Yes out of character. German public will not be happy with VW.
I suspect you're correct. Issue is, from what I read, it would perhaps be better if most of those sorties were never flown. It seems that use of air power will tend to prioritise the lives of soldiers over civilians. ('Blue on blue' not withstanding, but then my point above was not really about that, but about the anecdotal nature of much of the conversation.)
A terrible article entirely predicated on anecdotal evidence. I have no doubt that most of the 'technologically advanced' equipment Americans put into and will put into wars will ultimately fail to live up to expectations.
But let's give another anecdote about the A10. In Iraq, the A10, just like the B52 in Afghanistan, was responsible for killing two truck loads of British soldiers. Its pilot mistook the luminous arrow signs that indicated friendly forces for missile systems.
In Afghanistan, an American Apache mowed down a platoon of British troops after being called in as air support and mistaking the troops for the enemy.
The thing that links all these incidences is not low or high tech but the American military. Clearly its pilots, soldiers, staff are not trained properly. Just a bunch of reckless idiots. Much like the government that sent them.
I'm not sure replicatable or reproducible are better or worse than each other. They are just different things. Replicatable seems to hint at an easy way to run quite literally the exact same experiment or process as someone else has done in the past, while reproducible suggests there is enough information made available for someone else to re-create from the ground up a previous experiment or process.
It seems to me both have merits and one cannot assume that performing a 'replication' is a superior form of 'reproduction', nor the other way around. I suspect the merits and relative desirability of one or the other vary depending on discipline.
"Honestly, at first when that article got posted I thought you were going to talk about something else: like maybe how the entire dream of the internet is a bit of a fraud for advertisers in general."
Dream of the internet (presumably they mean dream of the web) was not initially one of advertisement.
