Re:Binance-hacker-1029 – $5.6B stolen from Binance on Friday October 30, 2026 @11:30AM (#50305330)
do you know how many laws and reg. exists to stop that? is it too hard for you to understand how finance steals that from you? you can build almost $0 fee system even today but regulator + lawyers in banks will come after you to put you in prison for not paying millions to licence for each state or several states. Things are simple, rent seekers stealing from everyone is not.
Re:Reddit will require an account to access on Thursday October 29, 2026 @05:06PM (#50295984)
That admin straight lying about entire UX and reddit design, it has been cancer since old.reddit.com. It's so bad that made me stop using years ago, I only check now and then.

Reddit should stop existing soon, just like quora, orkut, digg and many others.

Re:Apple introduces the new 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6 on Tuesday October 27, 2026 @10:10AM (#50259659)
16gb for default ram? is this a joke? base level is same for almost 5 years now, crazy level of slow upgrades, basically anyone needs pro device will never purchase the default specs, even air makes more sense.
which is just one good burger and beer in big city there, so not even worth attention
they are not horrible business, some of them literally get invested by governments and get extra debt from them too so they can never go bankrupt? if they are at national level airlines, they survive no matter what.

that is not bad business? that is just private profits, socialize loses perfect business?

PR and propaganda are not just about corporates and companies.
once they go bankrupt or do exit, what do people think will happen to data that has real value to it? Also why trust some random mid level company
Re:Now That Information Is Free, What's a College Campus For? on Tuesday October 13, 2026 @12:00PM (#50073845)

Right now you can learn hardest things, while on flight or in some remote area, crazy difference

Re:I'm the AGI that's wiping out humanity on Tuesday October 06, 2026 @03:03PM (#49982611)
Real world fact is opposite tho, not some "bad things", in poor parts of Africa they produce more, only in hedonism lover places they stopped producing, its people thinking for themselves, not a bad thing. It's not about economy.

All poor people everywhere have more kids even today.

I bet they thought any AI could never deliver what we have today this fast.
no matter how much more dystopian you think it will, it will be so much more than that.
This + your ROI in $10k device will be always lower than busy datacenter, its literally math. They sell free compute to others when you dont use it, you will never sell at that level or even you magically sell home compute, you will not compete at price
Re:Saving another 100TB of RAM with math (and Rust) on Friday September 18, 2026 @05:54PM (#49760782)

Re:Apple Reference Image: A New Approach for Verified Photography on Wednesday September 16, 2026 @08:02AM (#49725561)

Good luck with that after literally a thousand and more years, they can be most violent if times comes,
more social security will fix this I think? they need to spend 100Billion more on that so long term they can go into more debt.
