I like using clamp() so there is a minimum and maximum size. Here's a Sass function to abstract away all the math --> https://gist.github.com/kingkool68/d2da6d3461eb7d47ca5815f9d...

There are various browser extensions that do that. Chrome Dev Tools has a coverage tab to do something similar.

I remember a startup nearly 10 years ago that did something similar http://www.fastcustomer.com/

Pretty cool that this feature is not built in to the operating system.

Re:What's new in PHP 8? on Thursday August 13, 2020 @11:16PM (#24152873)
I'm most excited about str_contains(), str_starts_with(), and str_ends_with(). Call me simple but I'm so glad I don't need to come up with weird work arounds for those functions.
Wait so there was the old P2 and now there is the new P2 but at one point there was O2 which was supposed to be the next version of P2 https://geto2.com/ ?

I've been using them for several years. Saved our local news startup a boatload compared to CloudFront. What we pay in a year for BunnyCDN would equal one month on CloudFront.

Re:Stop Infinite Scrolling on Wednesday September 11, 2019 @10:19AM (#20940487)
I really took to heart this article about building a thoughtful, useable infinite scroll that doesn't break the back button. https://tumbledry.org/2011/05/12/screw_hashbangs_building

I think photo blogs are a good place to use infinite scroll.

I wish Amazon had a random button. Several years ago my friend wanted to randomly browse Amazon for things and I thought it would be easy to randomly generate URLs for products but I kept getting 404s. Figured I would need to use the API to scoop up product IDs and randomly go through those to randomly browse Amazon.
