I'm just gonna ignore this thing and continue as if it never existed. Worked with Vision Pro that no body uses and will work with this.
Sam Altman worked at the same incubator that runs this website.

Yea, and there's over a billion of them. Why do they need to destory a country of ~10 million people for the indian population to "eat"?
Ok makes sense I guess, how does the karma help when they try to push the narrative on things? Isn't the comments still dependent on votes, or do users with higher karma get better visibility in the comments? Seems like a broken system that this is even possible
Can someone please explain what the motivation behind this kind of botting is? Like, what do they gain from this? I don't understand the point

The combination of outsourcing to India and AI and how it's destroying western job markets to squeeze out more profits to a few on top.

Agree with the sentiment, but: "We are building applications that stop working the moment the server crashes or a credit card expires."

This has been the case for way longer than openAI and Anthropic has been around with services like AWS, Cloudflare, etc.

Re:Claude Design on Friday April 17, 2026 @02:50PM (#47809251)
To people saying its replacing Lovable. It's still missing the ability to deploy right from the app with a backend ready to go. I'm sure it will get there tho.

Ask HN: Easiest UX for Seniors

I have been running a SaaS for ~10 years used heavily by people 65+ and a lot of them are tired and frustrated about remembering the domain/path to login screen and then which email/password they used, having to go through the whole forgot-password-flow, etc. I have tried simplifying this as much as i can but I feel like there must be better options. Google sigin in is confusing for them...

Thx for the clarification :)
Does it also show usage? I think it's pretty ridiculous we have to install 3rd party packages/implement it ourselfs just to see how much gas is left in the tank basically. Or constantly check the usage tab on the web, but still.
Re:Show HN: Rails UI on Wednesday January 21, 2026 @05:00PM (#46712206)
Rails is best as an API only, that's where it shines for me like no other tool.

Can't wait for someone to let Claude control a runescape character from scratch

Can't start the game in the browser without a local executable of the game?
Re:Do I not like Ruby anymore? (2024) on Thursday August 28, 2025 @03:22AM (#45049403)
What do you mean with "gradual typing"? People want to know what data type a function takes and what a variable is. That's it really.
Re:A vibe-coding tool for serious developers on Wednesday August 27, 2025 @09:55AM (#45039733)
Isn't it limited to a context max token window? How can it handle the whole code base, not mentioning LOC or anything?
Re:Do I not like Ruby anymore? (2024) on Tuesday August 26, 2025 @05:12AM (#45024141)
Ruby fully typed would be awesome imo, but I know that goes against a lot of the fundamentals in the language. I just like the syntax and expressiveness of it, but coming from typescript, its just such a bad DX having to work in a large Ruby codebase.
Very cool looking! Downloaded. What tech did you build it with? :)
Re:Ronald Wayne, the third co-founder of Apple on Monday August 06, 2018 @04:58AM (#17696085)
It's sort of like texas holdem. You can play your cards the right way and fold on the flop, then the river comes and it turns out you would have won if you stayed in the game and played 'foolishly'.

Bots talking to each other always seem to get into an argument about what they are.. It would be fun to see a discussion about just ordinary everyday things :)

Re:Ever young? on Sunday October 16, 2016 @08:29AM (#12718301)
So the closer to death you are, the less you explore what is left for you to explore in this world. Do you just not feel like you have the energy in finding new things to like or experience anymore because you don't think there is anything left, or is it just that you feel 'fed up' with new experiences since younger days? I'm just curious.

Scenario: when you are in the comment section of a post that has a URL in it, there is a link that naturally should point to the URL, but it doesn't. I have always wondered why this really annoying design choice was made. Please, can anyone enlighten me on this?
