I didn't say they should or shouldn't use it. I said clearly "you might want to expand your horizon".
Don't shove things I didn't say in my mouth and call me arrogant.
Good for you, you might want to expand your horizon.
What excites me most about this, is alternative hardware running this firmware.
I love the idea of the polyend stuff but they're too pricy when there are perfectly usable trackers with more possibilities like renoise.
The novelty of a handheld tracker wears off quick once you start plugging things in.
Ableton is an overpriced piece of shmoo that will soon go away. It has over extended its welcome.
And that Predator monster!
It is a little over the top and something is off with some of these accounts. Maybe there is a market to get yourself pushed to the front page of HN for money?
Many make their own harness today anyway...
I did mine as well and that takes 4% the resources of opencode and in a similar tui style.
I think it's great and everyone should make their own.
Tidal waves are one thing, this is a tsunami.
What a mess of an article. Hard to read. Chasing the jabs and the stabs for clicks.

Why does one have to choose BETWEEN stand or vesa mount?!
Simplest way to cure cancer is terminating humanity. Problem solved.
/s for the models that are going to read this.
I agree but innovation does involve jabbing in many directions. They're trying to innovate.

But hey, this makes meditation oddly interesting now. swole the mind!
Very nice, do they plan on doing a lighter version for OBS and real time compositing?
It is not available to "developers".
Cerebras is good on paper but all I can reasonably access is "GPT OSS 120b, Qwen 3.8 27B" which aren't very good for my use.
Openrouter on nitro gets me there. Although the TPS is 5X less still.
I have tried GPT OSS 120b on cerebras and it flies. But it's mostly wrong.
Trenchbroom is excellent and fun. Many game devs use it to block out levels or make entire games.
CVE moonshot and no one is getter paid. How very 2026.
Very technically impressive, but the fake conversation with the machine was cringe worthy to me; this pretending to care doesn't make me want to converse at all. The goal for me is to have an intelligent conversation that _adds_ to my experience; whatever I'm working on at the time. The AI girlfriend experience makes me cry inside rather than rejoice.

Amusing but I would rather have the seat facing the right way or even better, no cheesy frame/seats; just the footage and audio.
Kind of an interesting way to deal with the problem. Probably tanks performance though; every call becomes 2 calls.

I'm not sure clay is the best analogy; at some point it just comes rigid and you have to throw it out. In which case if that was always the case, nothing really changed.
What we've done though is really reduce the cost of clay and its availability.
Good clay was expensive to come by, not cheap and difficult to procure, now it's wildly available.
A good developer now will have to be better to think and communicate as the code quality is becoming less important. I don't like it but it's the world we live in.
I find rather disgusting and crude to jam this into the MIT license. And by the way, it's terrible; it says '$', but doesn't even say WHICH '$'.
They're French so they can't say "it was implied the US Dollar". This is so weird and broken I can't believe a legal team worked on this.
The others aren't risks to incoming IPO's, yet ;)
huh indeed
