v0 by Vercel could be worth a look:
https://v0.devFrom the FAQ: "v0 is a generative user interface system by Vercel powered by AI. It generates copy-and-paste friendly React code based on shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS that people can use in their projects"

Iron could be worth a look:
http://ironframework.ioHaven’t used it extensively, but it’s pretty feature-rich and looks reasonably well-maintained.
One technique could be to start unfollowing certain people. Note that this is different from unfriending them and afaik there's nothing that will notify them to the fact.
Perhaps start by unfollowing those that post the "political garbage, pointless memes, etc". Quite quickly you should start to see your feed be a little more streamlined / less noisy.
On a related note I went even further and unfollowed everyone so my feed is now completely empty. As such it proactively requires me to view profiles of connections that I care about or view my list of "close friends" which is a feed in itself. That said, I barely use it anymore (which was my original goal).

Does anyone have any insight into what happened to Svbtle (svbtle.com)? In its heyday it seemed to have a ton of momentum / buzz, albeit on a smaller scale than Medium does today.

Oddly not everything is downloadable though. No Luke Cage here on Netflix Hong Kong (which is odd given it's Netflix made).

One thing that has recently helped me kick the "addiction" is by unfollowing literally everybody I know. It's taken a while, but now when I go back in it literally says something to the effect that "you need to follow friends to get news in your feed".
I'm now placing the onus on going back in and actively going to the feeds of friends and family that I care about; as opposed to the mindless thumbing through the feed.
Even though I believe it's been proven to be some form of hoax (although I'm not sure if it's been proven by whom),
http://propagandafilm.net is highly worth a watch.
There are moments when it truly feels like the above statement equally applies to "us" as it does to "them".

One thing I've been wondering recently in regards to the NYT Online is why some articles allow for comments and some don't (as generally the debate is reasonably well balanced).
This article is obviously more of a magazine-style, so perhaps from an aesthetic perspective it doesn't fit. However, even in more "standard" articles they are sometimes available and sometimes not. I appreciate that some articles / topics are more sensitive, but surely they are the ones that need debate more than ever. Also if it's appropriately moderated anything deemed inappropriate can of course be removed.
Does anyone have thoughts on the impact (positive or negative) the acquisition will on the Austin tech scene, given this is where HomeAway is headquartered?
