So a markdown file is debugger now?

Rebuilding the world's software in one repo, all in Javascript, what could go wrong?

If the entire body of this article isn't just an "LGTM" then I know they're lying.
Re:Time Travel in Braid (2015) on Thursday October 08, 2026 @10:51AM (#50006516)
I recently started playing through Braid for the first time. Fun to see this posted on the day Order of the Sinking Star comes out.
Re:Replacing Pull Requests with Delta on Friday September 18, 2026 @08:34AM (#49753499)
I've been using the beta of Delta for a couple weeks and using it for review is a huge improvement over reviewing directly on the PR. Being able to jump into a team mates thread and see the context of how something got created and be able to ask questions about it very nice. There's some rough edges in the product, but the direction they are going is pretty interesting.
I've been waiting for this to get posted since he mentioned it on The Standup, excited to watch it today.

Why is a bank selling llm inference?
A Tacoma is now the size of an F-150, they used to be the size of a Ford Ranger. It's ridiculous.

Thought the same thing, sounds like the apps are web apps based on the stack, which means all these apps could be build with Go, Datastar (or htmx), and sqlite and hosted for a fraction of the cost.
Re:Writing by hand is good for your brain on Thursday July 23, 2026 @11:49AM (#49023572)
I've done Julia Cameron's "morning pages" exercise off and on over the years, write three full pages of flow of consciousness by hand first thing in the morning, and it's shocking how good it is for unlocking ideas and working through problems when done consistently.

If anyone has an opinion on the best way to do something, it is "gatekeeping" to some people.

Great, another way to make shipping bloated javascript apps easier. Just what we need.
This is included in the Odin vendor libraries, it's fantastic for Raylib debug menus
Re:Apple WWDC 2026 Livestream on Monday June 08, 2026 @02:33PM (#48449413)
Interesting and good to know, I did not understand how that works. Thanks for the info

"Siri AI will not be available in E.U. until we figure out privacy"

Funny to hear that after they mentioned how seriously they are taking privacy every 37 seconds.

Re:The Emacsification of Software on Wednesday May 13, 2026 @03:43PM (#48126500)
Enjoyable article. I've had the same feeling about native software becoming more accessible with the help of llms. However, I tried the app and opened a large-ish markdown file and immediately had scroll hangs and then the app crashed. Making a small proof of concept is easy, but performance and reliability are still hard.

Re:Zed is 1.0 on Wednesday April 29, 2026 @11:17AM (#47949635)
Congrats on 1.0!

Though it's a pretty big bummer to see that extension improvements were removed from the roadmap.
