On Firefox 158 / macOS 26.6.2 I get "NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource".
Working on Chrome and Safari.
If people are not writing novel code, nor learning how to, does innovation slow since LLM generated code is largely customized copy-paste, and there's nothing new to train the models on?
Lower wages with the same quality is an MBA fantasy. The old saying "you get what you pay for" applies to tech as well as any other topic.

I wonder if when one goes down, activity shifts to others, in turn pushing them over a threshold.
I recently went through most of the Spotify clients I could find on GitHub, looking for something "lean", including screen real estate.
Most of the GUI apps had something similar to the official app in the maximized window, but none had a good mini-player, something I could put in the corner of an external monitor and control most of the important functions with minimal mouse clicking, including EQ and playlist.
Interestingly this one with its Winamp mode is what I was looking for. Nostaliga is probably playing a part, but it a good UI does not have to be "modern".
I also went through a tour of TUI apps. Lots of interesting work there, but a full TUI with windows was less convenient to navigate, and some of them try to do too much. I wound up using https://github.com/hrkfdn/ncspot because it specifically does not attempt to be a character mode GUI. Almost like a ViMusic.
Anything with a soul that gains popularity is doomed to value extraction.

How many times has this happened now?
Wait for the new TacOS release on Tuesday.
A problem was so many others were screaming about the lack of generics, as though there were not other language options that provided them.
It is stopping some of the adults I work with from learning.
In the case of some management, is causing them to unlearn, forgetting about proper review and maintenance practices.
Maybe a machine that did not require the inclusion of a Windows license in the purchase price?
At one point, I think Dell would let you subtract a small amount from an order when no OS was installed.

> but it makes the site seem less legitimate
I have yet to head that cookie prompts are a sign of legitimacy. What business has customers that would think that way?

Nope. The "small screen" at my home has better selection, better and _cleaner_ seating, and most importantly anyone who won't be quiet during the film gets ejected no questions asked.
I would love to go to theaters again, if only some level of decorum was enforced. Too often patrons seem to be looking for a place to sit and talk, not watch films.

I'm not getting paid by the hour, so hell no.
If I was paid hourly, hell no.
AI Tribbles. What could go wrong?
I have experience two of these AI "interviews". The absolute dumbest interviews of my career, with the exception of a recruiter sending me to. C++ config manager role when I was a DBA with zero C++ experience.
They follow a script worse than a call center drone, can't clarify their own questions, and respond to hallucinated questions.
For now, they are an immediate candidate side rejection from me.
