So is the Economist here lying? If the fact of the matter is that the guy has not contributed to philanthropy and is backed by the cited numbers, why is it envy? We can do better and certainly HE can do better.
Got flagged meaning? Did not go well with fanboys and investors? Or is the Economist outright lying?

There is definitely more to the story. There is a huge financial interest for each side to discredit the other. Fact of the matter is, we still don't know who will prevail. These are cutting edge tech stacks and they were just released.
I always find icons better than text, given that you don't know the exact linguistic background of the user. Thus for me the Canadian keyboard makes more sense than everything. I think the latest keyboards from Apple also go this direction, exchanging text for icons.

Mistral has a huge advantage that will shine later... it's a EU-based company. We are already seeing signs of digital sovereignity everywhere. The clients will flock to them, I dare to say government will be even enforcing clients to contract Mistral. So actually being the top dog in benchmarks matters less, than having secure servers and datacenters which are physically based in Europe.
According to their docs "htmx is a library that allows you to access modern browser features directly from HTML, rather than using javascript"
Can anyone confirm this claim? How good is this? Doing everything in HTML/CSS might have some advantages. Is it quick and compatible enough?

Wow, I thought this could not be possible. May I ask, where did you grow up? I mean, in the 80s the Star Wars were already a cult thing.

the most pragmatic approach indeed!
Although in principle I agree, cultivating founders could be an added mission.
Are there any independent reviews of the c100? I want to know more about the keypads and bindings they added.

“The mammalian brain achieves fast, highly effective goal-directed behavior leveraging paired forward/inverse internal models, open-loop multi-step motor commands, and the hierarchical organization of action.
Our findings show that the Inverter framework, built on the same three principles, enables fast and effective
planning and control through a feedforward, sequence-level FoM-and-IM core that emits entire action sequences in single forward passes. We find that Inverters offer consistently high task performance at a fraction of the inference compute time used by step-wise RL or iterative planners.”

"Disagreement on AI philosophy shouldn't be a reason to flag a contribution."
Amen!
"like... programmers enjoy the act of typing lines of text into a file on their computer"
ehm, no!
Are you American? We would prefer it to stay a European company. I personally hope Mistral buys them or somehow they unite to make a stand.
You are completely ignorant. This is one of the best places to live and work on earth. Nonetheless, they also have positions in San Francisco for what is worth.

My question always remains. Which variety/implementation of Lisp is it worth it to learn as a hobbyist and which as a professional?
Valid comment, but prolly because this is the reality he knows. Which is fair.
That's a very harsh take. Most of us would not be alive by the end of the century to personally witness or attend the 1000 years of the University of Bologna, but that goes enough to say how ancient these institutions are: meaning their role obviously changed over time.
Historically, universities BECAME bastions of truth and knowledge, particularly with the introduction of Alexander von Humboldt's ideas for research. And that was already happening by the mid-end of the 19th century. You can not seek seriously truth and knowledge before the establishment of serious metrics and research methodology.
What's the problem if a site is vibecoded? We will be seeing it more often, I recon. Let's get used to it. On the other hand, perhaps a disclaimer is in order.
