Hey! Yes, we use leading AI providers for website generation. All license tiers include the same daily limits for AI requests. If you can't wait, you can purchase additional AI tokens.

We offer lifetime licenses, which we treat as a source of capital to continue developing Shuffle. Some people see that as a potential downside, but we see it differently. It allows us to maintain full control over Shuffle's direction.

The Shuffle Editor has been on the market for over six years, and the majority of our customers use subscription plans (monthly or annual).

AI Website Redesign is a supporting tool for Shuffle. You can use it to explore different design directions without ever opening the Shuffle Editor, but I don't expect that to be the main use case.

Most users start with Shuffle here: https://shuffle.dev/new

Show HN: Real-Time AI Design Benchmark

https://shuffle.dev/ai-design

Hey HN,We built a different kind of AI benchmark for UI generation.Instead of static leaderboards or curated screenshots, you can watch multiple models generate the same design live, side-by-side, and decide which output is actually better.Under the hood, we call AI models from Anthropic (Opus), OpenAI (GPT), Google (Gemini), and Moonshot AI (Kimi). Each model generates a real, editable project...

Re:Show HN: Live AI Design Benchmark on Monday February 23, 2026 @12:37PM (#47125649)
Each result includes a unique, shareable link with an open-graph preview. If you're proud of what you've built, feel free to share it with others.

Drop in a prompt and watch leading AI models compete on taste, layout, and creativity.Unlike Design Arena, our tool lets you watch projects being generated live, choose the best result, and refine it visually before exporting directly to Next.js, Laravel, or a WordPress theme.

Re:ManusAI Joins Meta on Tuesday December 30, 2025 @11:53AM (#46435208)
My guess is they had to sell to keep the lights on (similar to Windsurf).

They’re reportedly at ~$100M ARR, implying about $8.3–8.5M in monthly revenue (ARR = last month * 12).

At the same time, they claim to have processed 147T+ tokens. For context, pricing that volume on something like Sonnet 4.5 would come out to roughly $500M in API costs. They likely offset a chunk of that with open models, but for higher-quality outputs, they’re still paying meaningful amounts to Claude / OpenAI / Google.

Hard to make those numbers work without a lot of capital or an exit.

Show HN: Design Inspirations on an Infinite Wall of UI Components

https://shuffle.dev/inspirations

We created an infinite wall of UI components that makes finding visual inspiration for your next interface fun. UI Components are organized by category, including hero sections, navigation bars, forms, cards, testimonials, footers, and many more. Each component is not just a pretty mockup! You can instantly preview it, open it in the visual editor, and export clean, editable code. Compatible...

Hey! The components you’re seeing come from the libraries included in our tool. Each UI library typically has around 10 variations of a feature in a coherent style, such as hero sections or pricing, but with different UX. If you want to explore more, you can use CMD+F to quickly search for sets by name (try searching 'Zospace' as an example). This way, you’ll uncover more options to work with.
Thanks! The wall is one of the supporting tools for Shuffle. You can browse freely and find inspiration without an account. If you want to go further, Shuffle lets you modify components visually and export them in the CSS frameworks we support (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, etc.).

Re:Gemini 2.5 Flash Image on Tuesday August 26, 2025 @12:27PM (#45028772)
Noted that! The editing capabilities are impressive. I was excited for image gen because of the API (Midjourney doesn't have it yet).
Re:Gemini 2.5 Flash Image on Tuesday August 26, 2025 @12:00PM (#45028371)
I tested it with two prompts:

// In this one, Gemini doesn't understand what "cinematic" is

"A cinematic underwater shot of a turtle gracefully swimming in crystal-clear water [...]"

// In this one, the reflection in the water in the background has different buildings

"A modern city where raindrops fall upward into the clouds instead of down, pedestrians calmly walking [...]"

Midjourney created both perfectly.

Re:Gemini 2.5 Flash Image on Tuesday August 26, 2025 @11:57AM (#45028324)
Thanks for clarifying this. That makes a lot more sense.
Re:Gemini 2.5 Flash Image on Tuesday August 26, 2025 @11:55AM (#45028284)
I don't get the hype. Tested it with the same prompts I used with Midjourney, and the results are worse than in Midjourney a year ago. What am I missing?
Re:Critcl – C Runtime in Tcl on Wednesday August 06, 2025 @12:40PM (#44814366)
Not contributing much to the discussion, but thanks for explaining who still uses Tcl. It was my first programming language about 20 years ago (I used it to write scripts for Eggdrop - an IRC bot). Just stopped by the comments out of nostalgia.

Show HN: Visual Editor for Cursor

https://shuffle.dev/cursor

Hi!We noticed that our users extensively use Shuffle (a visual editor for developers) in conjunction with Cursor. Re:Ask HN: What are you working on? (May 2025) on Sunday May 25, 2025 @05:36PM (#44091398)
https://shuffle.dev

For the last few weeks, we have been working on catching up on features for vibe coders (prompt -> project), but now we are back to our strengths (visual editor and new beautiful UI libraries for Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, and more).

We realized there are just too many apps for vibe coders, and it would be better to work on something unique that we are really good at!

Great job! Can you share where the codebase prompts are listed? Maybe it is a valuable thing to learn
Re:Show HN: UI Library Creator on Thursday November 23, 2023 @05:37PM (#38398430)
I'm sorry, but this is not possible. UI Library Creator works with Tailwind CSS, and we will add support for Bootstrap later. We don't have a plan to support custom frameworks. We need to know the framework "structure" to make this tool work. :)
Re:Show HN: UI Library Creator on Thursday November 23, 2023 @05:28PM (#38398348)
It's an "ad" for our tool that helps build websites in many styles at once (60+ libraries we have in Shuffle). I'll ask our designer to make it less irritating. ;)

We have used the term "components" for a long time. Some call them "sections" or "blocks". Still, I think "component" is a valid name, and many websites with components/sections/blocks use it.

Re:Show HN: UI Library Creator on Thursday November 23, 2023 @04:29PM (#38397783)
Hey,

Thank you for your feedback.

1. The "Shuffle Styles" changes everything except tabs with a padlock icon. You can lock settings you like and then keep shuffling.

2. Shuffle is our main product (check https://shuffle.dev/new). Until now, we have only had UI libraries we created ourselves. You can adjust them to your needs in the editor, but the UI Library Creator is a tool to create libraries we don't have.

3. Can you tell me more about this "intrusive ad"? Probably, I didn't understand it correctly.

4. UI Libraries are sets of components grouped into categories, like headers, pricing, etc. For example, you can view components of Saturn Library: https://shuffle.dev/components/all/saturn

5. Assets and Copy are last because they are not this tool's "killer feature"- Styles are. :) However, when creating a UI library, it is best to lock them at the beginning so you can focus on styles, not texts and images.

Appreciate engagement with a longer comment! Thanks

We are probably the small exception in the SaaS business that keeps adding stuff but does not charge old users for it. ;) Thanks for supporting us in 2021.

Great! Appreciate that :)
Re:Show HN: UI Library Creator on Thursday November 23, 2023 @03:26PM (#38397145)
We have discussed the freemium approach, but for now, you need an account to use all options. (However, you can still build a UI Library without an account and see if it's the tool for you)
Re:Show HN: UI Library Creator on Thursday November 23, 2023 @03:21PM (#38397091)
Thanks for reporting! I can't find it right now, but if it exists, it will be fixed soon :)
