Show HN: A Tool to Discover Hidden Sol in Your Wallet

https://4lamports.vercel.app/

I've been learning about Solana (SOL) and during this process, I've built a service called 4lamports. It's a simple tool that helps you find hidden SOL in your own wallet (Solflare, Phantom) by reclaiming the rental fee charged by Solana for 0 balance token accounts and transferred NFTs. The code is open-sourced and you can check it to ensure there is no malicious line before trying it. I hope...

Good catch. She is working on fixing the typo. And… thank you for the nice words, they mean a lot to Julia.
Ty! The website is available at https://tagpalette.com/ and it is still in development. Some described functionalities like “color psychology” will be available in a few weeks.

Toasting to following your Dreams – My Girlfriend's UX/UI design debut

I'm thrilled to share with you all a personal milestone in my life that I feel compelled to celebrate. My girlfriend, Julia, has been pursuing her dream of becoming a UX/UI designer for almost a year now while working in logistics, and today she has finally published her first project!I can't express how proud I am of her for putting in the hard work to make her dream a reality. It's not easy...

> what is the file size limit

The actual file size limit of the portal is 1GB. SkyTransfer file size limit is ~700MB. Since the encrypted data are Base64 encoded and the Base64 encoding has an overhead of 33%, the encrypted data are correspondingly larger compared to the unencrypted data. This limit will be increased as soon as possible.

> minimal storage period

Files uploaded to Skynet will remain available as long as a portal pins the skyfile (agrees to pay from it). The rule-of-thumb for a minimum time is 3 months, but this will vary from portal to portal and could depend on if you have a user account with the portal. You can pin files yourself by running your own portal, and any portal can pin any file that already exists on the network. https://support.siasky.net/key-concepts/faqs#how-long-does-d...

SkyTransfer is the result of an hackathon. It is open source so feel free to create an issue on GitHub for that or submit a PR for adding more information in the About section. As we wrote, "SkyTransfer is still in development. Please report any issues, new ideas or bugs". You know, our time is limited and we are doing our best.
We will work on it. I opened an issue on GitHub.
Cool thing! Thanks for sharing it, I have to try it :) ShareDrop looks like a great AirDrop alternative.

Regarding SkyTransfer, we created it for fun and to prove that Skynet and Sia technology work and people can create cool stuff with it. We strongly believe in technology behind SkyTransfer (not the value of the coin in the markets). File can be downloaded at any time, you just need the link. If a portal is down, you can simply switch to a different one. Obviously there is much more behind it, but it makes no sense to dwell on these discussions.

> *Devices need to have the same public IP to see each other.

ShareDrop assumes you are in the same network. It's a big limitation.

I agree with you, 63 is terrible to read :D

It is a totally new web experience and I think it's amazing (it is innovative for me). Probably it can be a little confusing on mobile devices but on desktop the effect is fantastic and really creative. You can work on it.. for the rest, compliments for the great good job.

Great idea! :)
Re:Neural Color Transfer Between Images on Friday October 06, 2017 @03:49AM (#15415086)
I agree with you that it starts to get a little old; it is not a new topic but there is something else that is really impressive: the result. This paper shows that we are moving forward on a complex topic like colour transfer between images. Compliments for the research work!
I like your question. Ok, you can use 500px, Flickr, Google and other sites... But... In my personal opinion, a developer should be curious. I'm a dev and, for this reason, I like to give myself a challenge. It's a good way to learn a lot, to discover new solutions, to meet new people, to improve my skills, to create something new. So... you can use Google Photos library or you can consider to create something different (because definitely your solution will be different from the others). It's a choice ;)
You have to do a lot of research to solve these type of problems. I think that neural networks and machine learning are the best way... but it's a complex problem.

Here you can find awesome publications (http://rodrigob.github.io/are_we_there_yet/build/classificat...). It's something like a bible of neural networks :P

Hi, If you want you can contact me. I created a powerful algorithm to detect dominant colors in an image using K-means clustering and lab color space.
