after my money was withheld i messaged a mercury investor to see if i could get set up asap, they set me up so i could get paid and reroute all my payroll.
mercury ceo dm'ed me to check in, honestly at least i can message the ceo
brutal 'it'll be over once i visit'
'i'll be over when i send the paperwork'
it'll be over when...
Mercury,
Meow
Schwab
chase (remaining personal account)
i did it cause mercury helped me out a lot.
I was in Canada, and I was also quite stressed with some keynote presentations I had to give, planning my move back to the US, and applying for my O-1 visa.
I figured I'd sort it all out by the time I moved. However, I may have been a little too relaxed about the situation and stressed out about other stuff
thankfully i just DM'd the mercury team and got a temp approval to deposit the 180k
indie consulting is pretty small scale
what... what did you doo...
yeah it was hard to fit in my travel schedule, i totally agree it was a terrible experience losing contact and starting over with many people
fuck lol, i messed up the date but if i fix it it breaks the url
i was just a dude with 3 contractors, i figured it'd just get resolved cause i didnt do anything wrong...
holy shit. They never gave me an answer but the last thing the KYC team did (outside of executive branch) was just confirm a 25k invoice =_=
its ok, im on the front page, the market has decided the worth
thanks! this was based on a 30 minute 'crash course on what things they need to look out fo'
I'd recommend taking a look at lancedb as they support text, vectors, and sql.
high relevancy scores are not percentages, they only make sense in 'ordering' but 0.7 does not mean relevant.
but .9 vs .7 means 'maybe more relevant.
I'll try to add more details!
nothing, all i really say is 'add monitoring, do topic clustering'
which is how i did 'search' and 'recommendation' systems
1) are there filters we need to build
2) do we have inventory
how can i make it better?
this was a quick post that i wrote up after a 30 minute call with someone, mostly notes to take in preparation for a bigger talk im giving.

mostly training really interesting models, optimizing recommendation systems, designing frameworks. i was having a lot of fun.
author here: i definitly agree its a bit of both. but i will say, taking 2 years off work, still hurts if i build furniture or have to hammer something or turn a lot of screws

closest thing people gave me was DQT but 10 months of PT didnt help and MRA / XRAY found nothing
i dunno man, i was in pain for 2 full years, people try alternative medicine when when main stream medicine does not work, whats a couple 100$ dollar difference does it make?
