I am not sure whether the motto is the cause there or the fact that Charles had a lot of drama going on...
Good for them, having a frontier model that nobody can actually use.
Dear Santa Claus, for Christmas I wish the Federal Trade Commission would block this terrible monopolization of this sector.
People can change when you have a justice system that is aimed at reforming offenders rather than simply locking them away or punishing them. America's justice system is the opposite of that, socializing even petty criminals that incidentally land in the system into doing more crime. That's why America has so many more people locked up compared to other countries, which is significantly more expensive in the long run, too...
The key difference is that it is easier to control and extract profits for a narrow set of people from fossil fuel.
Or maybe they could have listed well on Google, too, if they had splurged on ads and SEO...
I, too, enjoy CocaCola™ for its natural flavors and smooth mouthfeel...
Of course you would want to procure products that work for all of your employees. The idea that you could just cut off certain elements of a foreign government was really shortsighted.
Even Ontarians don't speak kindly about wine from Ontario lol
Maybe I would rather be treated by such a doctor with time on their hands than a burned out brilliant doctor?
150% gang here. Actually 200% on my laptop but the resolution of that display is just ridiculous.
Fossil fuel power plants are unfortunately still profitable for their owners (billionaires...). The cost of building them has mostly been written off a long time ago. None of this is about what is good for America in the long run...

Yup. Ubuntu promises the best of both worlds, and in my experience the end result is noticeably worse than Debian. You notice when things are deliberate and tested versus cobbled together and made to work.
I suspect there are plenty of people out there who habitually buy the most expensive of what Apple has to offer in any category. I guess Apple was leaving money on the table by not having anything in this price range in the first place.
Interesting team, what does Bella bring to the table?
Yes, I have carefully composed a twenty page report, mostly quantitative, and then I condensed it into this short comment.
Users perceiving the products as largely interchangeable and quickly DDoS'ing the other providers when one is down. So much for the possibility of a moat.

Not limited to this update (26.825.31414 to 26.831.21537). Every update seems to redownload all files. The program is 1.4GB large and a version update requires a 1.4GB download. It really stands out among the Linux upgrade experience. Had to remove the program because I regularly install updates from shitty wifi and this just means I would not install updates anymore. Not even Flatpaks have...
> pay a maximum $16.68 billion
Why "a maximum". Do can we expect that in practice it will be much less?
"It tested well with the focus group..."
I much prefer Claude, but this move may actually get me to pay for a subscription again.
I remember Google maps working well for walking around in Europe. Ever since I've moved to America, not so much. Go figure...
Upsetting how we are reaching these lows while the administration is accusing everyone else of wasting taxpayer money except for themselves. At least under previous administrations you would get something for your money, like science funding and healthcare for the needy, not just bombing runs and posturing.
Nope, read a couple stories about climate credits over the years, and this is a problem. The credits are permanent, even if the new grown forest burns down.
Time estimate is way off for the Smastad loft bed, that thing was such a pain.
I don't know if popular is quite the right word. It certainly is widely used though...
Zotero obviously stores data in an SQL db. It's not quite a text file, but it's been around forever, and it's easy to parse directly, too.
That's been a thing for a long time. "Hitzefrei".
