Is it live still?

Source? Not sure where you are getting this from.

Outing your identity to whom? You must know that Twitter already knows about your alt accounts right? I wouldn't panic just yet, they will probably just derank unverified users in the replies of tweets so spam bots can finally die.
Putin and his cronies are the new ISIS. We love Russia and their people but innocents are dying at his orders. Something has to be done.

Thank you

That someone who's on your side is inherently supplying money in the form of taxes to their Gov who is committing war crimes. We don't want sanctions to continue indefinitely, just until they get their troops out of Ukraine.

What would you suggest these days, my phone is certainly out of date security wise and I need an upgrade. What have you yourself purchased?
Re:Refined Hacker News on Tuesday September 28, 2021 @03:44PM (#28686639)
One of the reasons why HN has stayed relatively under the radar for the majority of people is in part because of its perceived "bad design". I, for one, love the fact that it's not attracting a wider audience. You have reddit for that.
Re:Co-founder of Neuralink leaves the company on Monday May 03, 2021 @12:10PM (#27026866)
To which claims are you referring to?
Because most of his promises came through (eventually)
Nobody is asking you to do it so why are you so pressed?
Re:Britain stole $45T from India (2018) on Tuesday February 23, 2021 @01:41PM (#26241025)
First of all, this is not a belief that is widely held in Britan since I've not heard anyone seriously suggest that Britains occupation of India " was not of any major economic benefit to Britain itself.". This assumption is incorrect, therefore this article is not honest.

Another quote that is incorrect and tantamount to a lie: > - "David Cameron asserted that British rule was a net help to India."

The link this journalist added mentioned Camron saying: > "I would say that it’s a help because of the shared history, culture, the things that we share and also the contributions the Indians talk about that we’ve made. Obviously, where there are bad events, we have to remember them, be clear about them and learn from them."

He said nothing about Britain being a net help for India...

He faced a tone of consequences, just not criminal or civil charges in a court.
Re:Former Tesla engineer sues for defamation on Wednesday December 09, 2020 @04:12PM (#25365072)
I find it amusing because they find someone who has some sort of a problem with tesla and make them the jesus of their crusade against that company. "How could Elon (or Tesla) have done this?" in order to sway public opinion. They did this with when the plant sabotage employee a few years back, the diver guy who Elon called a pedo and every self proclaimed "whistleblower" as far as I can remember from 2015 when this stuff really got crazy.

They just want to make a buck and posture as if they have some moral quandry with the company or their leadership.

I have edited my original comment with a few which did not mark their donation as "private". P.S. I didn't say her case is not valid, simply that it's curious and amusing.
Re:Former Tesla engineer sues for defamation on Wednesday December 09, 2020 @03:42PM (#25364580)
This is hilarious, her gofundme is mostly funded by Tesla Shortsellers and they're not even hiding it... I haven't read her claims but this is amusing.

Gregory Reyes $5,000 (shortseller) Donna Walker $1,212 (shortseller) NetflixAndLamp $1,000 (shortseller) DIP Harambe $500 (shortseller) Machine Planet $500 (shortseller) Paul Shust $250 (shortseller) Naked Shortseller $100 (shortseller) Oslo Skeptic $100 (shortseller) Bones ThreeZero $50 (shortseller)

Since someone downvoted me, above are known TESLAQ folks and some are confirmed shortsellers while others tweet incessantly anything negative on this company but I cannot confirm 100% that they have short positions in this stock right now.

Re:Why I Love Tailwind on Monday December 07, 2020 @02:15PM (#25335919)
Bingo! There is really no reason not to use it considering everything you just described, I don't know why people in this thread have such strong opinions on this? Maybe it's from years of seeing the new "fads" which repackage old, stable solutions and call them a new thing. I have yet to read a comment on this thread which makes a good argument to not use Tailwindcss.
You want to drop some links to back up your claims?
Re:Six Figures in 6 days on Wednesday September 30, 2020 @11:48AM (#24640009)
I'm a little confused, what did you actually sell? If its not a secret of course.
Re:SoftBank unmasked as ‘Nasdaq whale’ that stoked tech rally on Saturday September 05, 2020 @10:00AM (#24383574)
That's a great idea, let the private markets front the cash for infrastructure projects and let local gov bodies set the rate of return over a set period (using the tax fund). This means a small portion of tax money can go towards repayment and states/counties get their infrastructure upgraded faster. Can anyone weigh in on why this is a bad idea? I have no idea why this isn't already the case.
I expressed some interest at some point of hiding profiles which contained a certain phrase in their bio and got downvoted. Does anyone know of any extentions that can do this?
I don't know about OP but I laugh at your words. They mean nothing.
If we were to do a poll you're probably right. The majority of HN is left leaning. Personally I don't want to defund the police (especially since i'm not from the US which would make my opinion invalid.) I'm going to make an assumtion and tell me if I'm right. You have been on Twitter for at least 2 hours in the last week. Is this the case? let me know if possible.
"police defunders"

What? who said anything about the police??

pretty sure that was a joke.
Are you suggesting american government is currently doing this? Source for your claims if so please.
Re:GPT-3 on Wednesday June 24, 2020 @07:55AM (#23626827)
I guess we could ask the same question about ourselves. How much of what we say is just a regurgitation of what we hear/read every day?
Man, I wish Microsoft would opensource Age of Empires source code. That community is still around miraculously and would most likely rejuvenate the game.
This reporting is disingenuous at best. He never "dared" them to arrest him. Can't believe this article is from Ars Technica.
