Somehow I missed when RawTherapee added the feature for bulk editing. Thanks for pointing that out in your article. Maybe I should give RawTherapee a new try :)

Not sure if it helps you, since you seem like you already tried a lot. I was confused about the different ways to do this, so I wrote down the ways I found: https://makandracards.com/darktable/477993-remove-chromatic-...

It's interesting how different one can perceive the same article. I quite enjoyed how he first explained some general ideas in a narrative style.
I agree that there are likely different reasons that had an impact. Performance is a good addition and I think also the bad mobile connectivity in the earlier years of the smartphone area is another reason.

you're right, it's similar :)

When I'm anxious, breathing meditation before sleep helps a lot.
Breath in like you normally would, then pause a little, breath out as slowly as it's comfortable. Again a little pause, then start again with breathing in as you normally would. 15 minutes of that work wonders for me. It tricks the brain into thinking you're save, because only when you're relaxed you breath like that normally. When in danger, your breath is rather fast.
The key thing is to breath out more slowly than you breath in, but don't overdue it. If you don't get enough oxygen, it will surely not help to battle anxiety.
Maybe it's helpful for someone else as well.

Thanks a lot for your comment. There's a lot in there. In fact, I added most of it to my personal collection of quotes.

Anyone interested in building a search engine for such sites? Or is there one I'm not aware of? I would love that!

The first thing I thought after reading was that it's no wonder he's so happy and content. He's been literally doing dopamine fast for years.

Your point makes perfect sense.
But it's more like a traditional japanese house with monkey bars! How awesome is that?

I had a friendship of several years with someone I met at my local library. I don't think something like that is common, but it's not impossible either.

I really like that site. Have used it multiple times to find dark spots for photographing the milky way.
However, I don't understand why the default overlay is from 2015, when there is newer data available. First thing I usually do is switching to the most recent overlay.

I really like his implementation of spider solitaire. Such details really make a difference.
