Re:Random Emails Gone from Gmail on Monday February 06, 2023 @07:07AM (#34676209)
Email was not there at all - not in searched results nor in mailbox history. Only reference was seen in firefox browser history where url to maiblox is kept + tab description (fortunately it included reservation id). Url did not resolved into showing email content.

Random Emails Gone from Gmail

One of my workflow within gmail is to use it as searchable history of conversations/receipts/confirmations emails. While I was printing out all the confirmation for upcoming holiday, I needed to get the confirmation of car rental.Searched in gmail search - no email confirmation returned, seemed strange as I remember that I check it in December. Depending what RF is being used for, Selenium may be under the hood wrapped in multi-layers of keywords. In other cases, where testing is not web/REST based (protocol testing, HW testing), what is being used for executing logic is up to devs/testers.

Re:Barrier: Share mouse and keyboard between computers on Friday March 11, 2022 @11:18AM (#30641749)
I tried Barriers to share mouse+keyboard between work and private laptop in the same wifi. Somehow, I had issues with linking both PC.

One of the alternatives is what I use currently - Microsoft Garage Mouse Without Borders ( https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=354... ) which suites my needs.

ps. using 5GHz wifi significantly reduces mouse latency.

Helter Skelter mashup is my preferred one over originals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VhW67Ya8jo

Many WaxAudio mashups are top-tier, such as: Bee Gees + ACDC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrlWWrSwaB8 Stevie Wonder + Metallica: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyvxHL5hLfE

In Bolo universe ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolo_universe ), there were multiple cases where commander was dead but AI kept its plan.

I stand corrected then!

My working theory is that in old times phones had rotary dial instead of key pad. Number 1 was the longest to dial, 9 was the shortest (as I remember from childhood days). Thus, fastest way to dial 3 digit code was to use numbers with as much as 9 as possible (997,998,999).

Few years ago I made a PoC with LSH to find similar functions within keyword-driven test framework to reduce keywords duplicates. It did find duplicates with fairy high accuracy although I did not get any comments from real live usage.
