On one hand this looks like a joke?
On the other hand I'm a strong protan colorblind guy (red doesn't register to me very well at all).
Looks like someone just added ~$500 more to it?
I got a demo of this game on a CD from a cousin in the mid-90s when I was a small child. It had tons of demos on it but One Must Fall 2097 was my favorite. I really liked the music as well, especially the theme.
Many years later after I had long forgotten about it, I was alone traveling across Germany by myself. This game suddenly popped into my head in some Berlin hostel but I couldn't remember the title. I posted on a couple of random forums across the internet and someone identified it from my admittedly terrible description. I remember celebrating in the hostel common kitchen area.
How about a situation where you're recording a song with your buds/bandmates and the drummer played a few notes out-of-time or singer didn't quite sing that long note in tune. You're not going to hire anybody to replace what they did. You can have your buds come back and try and try until they get something to your standard or tell them that they're bad musicians and need to study and practice for more years and years before they dare want to record a song again (purist). Or You can just live with the bad ("shitty is pretty"). Or you could hire someone to come in and replace their parts. Or you could just take a few minutes to fix it in cubase.
To me, the central question is: is this about the composition or the performance? Personally, I studied music composition so getting the point of the composition across is my priority. I'll auto-tune and quantize whatever if the composition comes across better. But I could understand if other people feel differently (they are a purist or very performance-oriented).
It's easy to take one of the greatest drummer's performances, quantize things, make it worse, and say "quantization sucks the soul out of music."
But what about the non-greatest drummers? The other 99.9% (or higher) of musicians who are tiers below Bonham? Quantization is a net improvement. It takes unlistenable performances and makes them listenable.
Is was one of Claude’s suggestions. A thumping good one
A browser extension gets the web stuff.
I don't do this but I do have a system that imports all my conversations with AI (claude code, chatgpt, claude app, etc.) to a storage system I call Chatacombs: a unified storage of most conversations I've had with AI, as detailed as I can easily get.
Why? Same reason as with most people about most things: because their income depends on it.
I think it's pretty obvious the satellites aren't drawn to scale, given they don't change in size when zooming in/out.
Nice. Can't wait for all my binaries to suddenly stop building.
Neat potentially. But in "species or group" I typed homo sapiens and it loaded up that whole tree. I noticed that a sibling of human is "cumshot man." I searched this on Google and expectedly got porn results. Not sure why that shows up.
1 commit == 1 reviewable unit == 1 PR == 1 CL == 1 feature == 1 fix is a perfectly reasonable way of working.
I used to work at companies where no one squashed their commits and the entire git logs were filled with 80% non-sense like "temp" or "bad" or "working" with the other 20% being coherent changes. What's the point of doing this I ask?
To clarify: Are they scanning and destroying a single copy of Book X or are they buying up all copies of book X, scanning it once, then destroying all copies of book X they can get their hand on?
Reminds me of "Complicated Hilbert Space" or "Quantum Door" from Siraj Raval's days of plagiarism.
As of now, 3 of the 5 comments on this page are just 0-1 karma accounts high-fiving the article. Suspicious.
When they do this, are they buying a single copy of say Book A and destroying a single Book A copy? Or are they buying every copy they can find of Book A and destroying all of them?
> Pitt's earliest credited roles were in television, starting with the daytime soap opera Another World (1964) before appearing in the recurring role of Randy on Growing Pains (1985–1989).
This is misleading and/or incorrect.
Use a better LLM.

Why is this being downvoted? It's a reasonable question.

This is not so much a fantasy about "being independent". Instead, it's a fantasy about being a sysadmin.
> This is just as much for america's benefit as it is for Israel's.
Citation needed.
I used to play on the regular world (RSC Preservation, non-bot). There's not enough people. And probably won't be hardly anyone there when I'm old enough to be in a nursing home.
I could join the bot worlds, but I'm fairly certain that they don't talk much or behave like a normal player in general (stumble through quests, make friends, trade with other random players, etc.). They probably just grind skills in some optimal way.
I've always imagined my last few days on earth as being in a nursing home playing Runescape Classic (2001-2003 runescape) with just me and a bunch of bots, recreating the glory days.
I've been to this museum ~10 times. It never gets old. I take everyone I know there. I like to see their reactions.
New portal looks kinda cool too.
Hallmarks of AI or AI slop? Or are you suggesting that AI is slop by definition?
Let's assume it's a bot. Is the point it's making unreasonable? Is it really unreasonable to refer to eBay's listings as inventory?
