Eh I'm seeing more here. Athena is struggling, IMBD search is down, Vercel is struggling.

Does anyone know of books or articles that further develop on this theme? I'm sure it's not wholly original and I'd love to hear other perspectives.

As someone who often carries a lot of tabs, I often keep the tabs around because the cost of evaluating whether a tab is worthwhile or not is high. It usually pulls me out of flow and pulls me into whatever article is bookmarked, which slows me way down.
It'd be nice to have them slowly fade away so I didn't have to make a decision because most of the time, I don't need the tab and wouldn't even remember that it's gone lol.

What have you tried? Just curious as I use Pocket and I am somewhat satisfied with it, though I rarely end up reading any of the articles I bookmark.

Thank you so much for sharing! This is a game changer - I'd been using two separate windows and manually dragging things around like a noob.

I'd be curious to hear about the effects of pets, especially since so many people added them at some point during the pandemic so you could get some interesting before and after stats.

That's an interesting twist. I like the positive aspect of it given I've mostly felt guilty for being able to flexibly take on more household tasks while taking breaks from work.
I do think things would trend even more positively had this not been a pandemic. Folks would have more flexibility in work location and could "pick their spots" better in the sense that they'd have more control over their environment and could tailor it to specific tasks.

I had a similar experience. The slowness of Notion to me. I now use Obsidian which has tons of nice shortcuts and is snappy, even as it's what I believe is an Electron app.

Would love to hear feedback on a few ideas in here:
1. "Loose" search that promotes learning and new connections 2. Narrow search that gives you a reasonable number of results (5) instead of 1.70 Billion like google. 3. Paying to remove ads from search.
