Newer Tesla glass roofs don't radiate any heat. So I've heard.
Re:Growing proof that autonomous cars save lives on Thursday September 10, 2026 @09:58AM (#49643815)
Tesla FSD is almost life changing, I'm so calm on my commute now. It's great. If I get cut off I don't care, I'm not driving.
I'm pretty sure you can do this with Frigate as well.
I'm referring to the majority of the population that lives in modern developed areas.
We do not need meat.
I see this all the time with "common sense" gun control.

Reminds of something I haven't thought about in a very long time... SimTower

If you use a case you could put a card behind your phone. I still use google wallet for various cards, just not tap-to-pay.
Re:My USB Drive Has a Hidden Encrypted Vault on Wednesday July 22, 2026 @01:16PM (#49010104)
SSDs are hard to completely sanitize
Re:My USB Drive Has a Hidden Encrypted Vault on Tuesday July 21, 2026 @02:19PM (#48996053)
Probably better just to use a veracrypt hidden volume, and preferably not a SSD.

Common? maybe for seniors. I probably handle a physical check once a year.
BYD is doing some amazing things
That's completely false to say Tesla has done 0 ever. They have a fleet, admittedly small, of unsupervised robotaxis operating.
Re:Volkswagen started blocking GrapheneOS users on Friday June 19, 2026 @05:12PM (#48603299)
Being that the Enyaq is basically an ID.4. I think it would be safe to assume the app would not work on GrapheneOS as well.

Tesla has been the benchmark for a long time. Longer than I thought they would be actually.
New Outlook doesn't even have feature parity with Outlook Classic.

Not sure if Tesla is on your list, but FWIW Tesla app works fine on GrapheneOS
Re:Fluid Simulation for Dummies on Wednesday June 03, 2026 @05:00PM (#48389970)
Reminds me of The Structural Dynamics of Flow by Leslie Claret
Re:Roku LT Operating System open source distribution on Wednesday June 03, 2026 @01:08PM (#48386671)
I use pfblockerNG(like pi-hole but for pfsense) to block ads to my roku. And I set up pi-hole at family members houses to block ads and telemetry on theirs.

Jellyfin is great.

I think it's some type of personality disorder.
Re:SimCity 3k in 4k (2025) on Wednesday May 27, 2026 @03:26PM (#48299251)
Nice! I'm going to have to try that now.
Re:The Cost of Owning a Home on Tuesday May 26, 2026 @05:50PM (#48286481)
Exactly. After 8 years there is absolutely no way I could rent a comparable house in my area for what my mortgage costs.
Re:The Quiet Renovation at Bitwarden on Monday May 18, 2026 @01:23PM (#48182561)
I switched from KeepassXC and KeepassDX to Vaultwarden, primarily to make it easier to get family members to transition to using password managers.
They do. As long as installed properly with a GFCI breaker.
It costed less for me to install a tesla wall connector over a NEMA receptacle, as the NEMA 14-30 and 14-50 require a neutral wire and a GFCI breaker.
