I wonder what app she is talking about
The infinity symbol doesn't bother me; what I don't like is that the information about the number of open tabs isn't available anywhere else. As a result, I have to run a script on the browser console on my desktop.

Furthermore, I'm not sure if it's just my old iPhone X, but I've noticed that when I have 100+ tabs open, the app crashes more frequently.

In Brazil, we have PIX, a way to make instant transfers 24/7 that is always free for individuals. It was launched in Nov/2020 as last month alone it had 1.8B transactions on its network.

It's really ubiquitous right now, as you can pay pretty much anything using it.

Honesty question here, but how do you do that?

Re:Fossil on Saturday March 26, 2022 @08:13PM (#30816541)
I suggest taking a look at https://fossil-scm.org/home/doc/trunk/www/fossil-v-git.wiki

I have never used, but I’m interested in trying… maybe some personal project in the future :)

This is also not working for me on Github, Facebook and Instagram...

I don't think it has anything to do with Ghost accounts, maybe your app has reached some quota limit...

But aren’t Brave, Edge and Opera based on Chromium instead of only Blink? Am I missing something?
Could you care to elaborate a little more? What does it make it easy or hard to fork?

Ask HN: Why do new browsers use Chromium instead of Firefox as their base?

Every time there is a post here related to Firefox, I see a lot of people complaining about the state of browsers and the utterly dominance of Chrome and Chromium based browsers.I’m wondering if that are technical reasons why the newish browsers (such as Brave or Edge) are choosing Chromium instead of Firefox as their starting point. If so, shouldn’t this be a priority for Mozilla to change that?

That’s indeed a worst case scenario, but you know (an grant permission to) which data the apps have access to

Isn’t https://solidproject.org going in that direction?
Re:Apple has completed its acquisition of Shazam on Tuesday September 25, 2018 @04:36PM (#18070277)
I first heard about Shazam when I worked in a project to integrate Shazam API to Hello Moto J2ME app back in 2007~2008. And it was amazing to see how they were able to move to the smartphone world so gracefully!

Ron, do you invest in companies outside U.S.? I founded a govtech company in Brazil, we have over 100 gov clients and we would love to talk to you!
i can help with the coding
You could focus on redirects, maybe some for npm modules, other for jquery plugins, etc

Also you could link/redirect references, like the Mozilla one https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript (Mozilla rocks \o/)

Re:Ask HN: What are you working on and why is it cool? on Friday August 01, 2014 @05:18PM (#8122859)
What: http://www.colab.re, a Brazilian social network for citizenship

Why cool: We are helping people solving city problems by connecting them to local government. Already live on 25 cities in Brazil
