Ask HN: Interesting video learning resources

I often like to put something on tv while I am eating a meal, but I really don't care much for the types of things Netflix/Hulu/etc offers (i.e. popular tv shows and movies).I like the concept of MIT OpenCourseWare video lectures, but those are real college classes that take significant active learning outside watching some videos to get much out of them.I like to learn things, and my interests...

What is the best way to contact my elected government representatives to support a change in this area? Re:Ask HN: How is Git on Windows today? on Thursday October 28, 2010 @10:40PM (#1845840)
I am pleased to see TortoiseGit, does it have any big issues? I remember hearing about it a while ago being very "beta" software.

Ask HN: How is Git on Windows today?

I have heard that git on Windows has been shaky in the past, but I am wondering if things are better today?I will need to setup git on a Windows server, and then I am wondering what the best way for developers to use it on their Windows boxes would be?Note: while you may think command line is the best way to use git, the people around me would prefer a Visual Studio plugin or something along...

Ask HN: When to buy vs rent servers?

I am wondering, at what point does it make sense to own your own servers (and switches, routers, whatever) as opposed to rent them monthly through a VPS service? Also, which Windows VPS provider do you recommend?
