Reframe Systems | Boston, MA | ONSITE or HYBRID | Full-time

We're creating housing on a mass scale through a network of robotic microfactories producing highly-customized buildings, from ADUs and cabins through townhomes and mid-rise apartments. We build with industrial efficiency while making buildings for an exact footprint, scale, style, and level of finish to fit any market, regardless of how tight the site or the zoning.

The core software problem is producing buildings designs without the typical months of design development and engineering. You can design natively in our building system or import existing designs, taking in a high-level architectural schematic and using that to generate a detailed manufacturable 3D model of the building (every stud, sheet of OSB, nail, electrical outlet, etc.) used to drive professional engineer review, permitting, and production. A compiler for a building.

Full Stack Software Engineer (platform): https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/reframesystems/c651981d-017b-4041-9...

We're also hiring mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and architects.

Indigo Agriculture (indigoag.com) - Boston/Memphis/Remote

Shameless plug for Indigo Agriculture (indigoag.com). We're expanding on a number of different fronts with the central goal of increasing farmer profitability while reducing the environmental impact of production. Here are some of the groups at Indigo that are hiring: - Marketplace: matching growers producing high quality crops with buyers who need that quality. Giving farmers a reason to produce crops that are better than commodity standard, produced in better ways. - Transport: contract trucking services to allow farms to sell their products, efficiently, well beyond their current reach - Agronomy/Precision Agriculture: giving farmers the tools and expertise they need to improve their efficiency while reducing environmental impact. - Remote Sensing: supplementing Indigo's and growers' knowledge of fields with continuously updating global observations from satellites - Carbon Sequestration (terraton.org): sequestering a trillion tons of carbon dioxide into agricultural soils to improve soil quality while slowing the march of climate change

If you are interested, please apply on our website or feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected]. I'm a software engineer who works across a number of the above groups. I'd love to chat or put you in touch with the right person.

Sorry about that. It's a bit hidden (and called "Plans"). Here you go: https://developer.climacell.co/

The Magic Mountain by Thomas Mann
This is a good place to start if you aren't already overly familiar with the principle of electromagnetism and circuit theory: https://www.khanacademy.org/science/physics/electricity-and-... After that the progression of a traditional EE education usually goes like this: transient and AC circuit analysis (phasors, Fourier, Laplace), linear systems, opamp and analog filter design, digital logic, some power stuff (3 phase, etc.), active devices (diodes, BJTs, FETs), RF basics. From there, the path usually splits based on your personal interest. Some options are usually power systems, digital systems (embedded systems), digital systems (IC design), AC design (usually mixed with RF).

Re:Dijkstra’s algorithm and the Fibonacci heap on Sunday July 06, 2014 @01:04PM (#7994991)
Why can't the Fibonacci heap node store a pointer to the graph node and when it is updated, use that pointer to store the new pointer to the heap node in the graph node?
