Zipcodes are not numbers. As a counterexample, MA has codes beginning with 02, e.g. 02135.

I've been running emacs server for at least a year or two now on OSX using homebrew.

Re:Elm at Prezi on Wednesday May 29, 2013 @02:46PM (#5788208)
I was really impressed by elm, but I strongly prefer working with a library that provides some of the features without transpiling. If anyone else is interested, I'm looking for some help with my project: https://github.com/jlatt/frp.js
Re:How I learned to love rebase on Tuesday February 26, 2013 @12:44PM (#5287084)
I do not understand why these metaphorical articles persist. They do not help anyone understand the procedure, which is simple:

    - Walk the commit tree backwards to the specified rebase point, writing each commit as a temporary diff file.
    - Set the current working space to the rebase target commit/hash/tag like `git reset --hard $commit`.
    - Apply each diff file in forwards order (that's the reverse of the way diffs were generated in the first step).
Rebase is just a good shorthand for moving sequences of commits and (potentially interactively) resolving conflicts along the way.
Re:447 Days Ago, I Found Out I Had Cancer on Thursday February 14, 2013 @09:43PM (#5224114)
Based on your reaction, I am guessing you have never faced a serious illness like this with tedious, painful treatments. The senseless statistically unlikely occurrence of cancer in a young person is almost guaranteed to produce overwhelming anger. It's natural to express this, especially in the face of doubts.

source: I am 30. I am days from finishing a year of radiation, surgery, and chemo for cancer.
