Ask HN: MCP calls leading to dynamic context length issues
Issue: in my agentic builder customer can add any mcp sources. some mcp sources can give a huge output which can cross the input context length limit.I am looking for a smarter way to solve this issue.
we bring the power of vibe code -- build anything frontend and marry them to advantages of low code -- SSO, RBAC, etc.
I would love your feedback.
Also some more observations below:
1) some 20 organisations were created within our Root all with email id with same domain (co.jp) 2) attacker had created multiple fargate templates 3) they created resources in 16-17 AWS regions 4) they requested to raise SES,WS Fargate Resource Rate Quota Change was requested, sage maker Notebook maintenance - we have no need of using these instances (recd an email from aws for all of this) 5) in some of the emails i started seeing a new name added (random name @outlook.com)

Ask HN: Can tokenizers go from fixed length tokens to varying length?
I am going through a workshop on building LLM grounds up. While I am studying tokenizers like BPE - I was curious why not use ideas from encoding techniques like huffman and make better optimized encoders. So a token like '.' also has same sie token as the word 'Algorithm'. Their frequency of occurence and their size could save us some GPUs?
But I do see the merit in this thinking that LLMs can eat LCNC platforms for breakfast. However I am excited to see how with time a near perfect applications can be churned out with about 80-90% work done and engineers can figure the last few miles and reach the finish line but 50x faster.
seems one additional user was added and that payment failed due to credit card expired. This made them downgrade the plan for about 80+ users in our account. It is their policy.
It seems egregious to me. What are your thoughts?
Ask HN: Slack downgraded us to a free plan while our subscription is till sep 1
All communication from slack to us indicated that we are on for renewal on september 1. This has affected us badly. Either we have to move out to some service which cares. If any one of you have experienced something similar then it would be good to know what you did.
Was curious to apply your use case and see if our pricing model maximises ROI.

Tell HN: Teaching my 10 yo Programming

Just to give you an example:1) they have a maze with a robot and a target and kids need to program with simple instructions...
Ask HN: Hit by fraudulent stripe payments on our SaaS platform
We are a low code platform for building internal tools. We have an open signup via gmail or you can create a company account. Since last two days we are seeing an unusal pattern of payments from newly created accounts. In our world -> this cant happen as unless some one makes something working and needs end users to use it there is no real need to subscribe to a paid plan. They were mostly...
