Show HN: Wave – Layered gradient wave backgrounds using Three.js and shaders

https://wave.subworkflow.ai/

Hello! I built this static tool to generate wavy backgrounds for posts, socials and landing pages and decided to share it for free for anyone looking for the same. This tool uses three.js/canvas rather than svg: a full-screen quad and a fragment shader which makes for soft shadows, smoother blurs and glass effects. Hit the randomize button to get a good shape + colour combination, optionally...

Relaunched https://ragextract.com over the past month - from document processing and RAG API to fully featured AI table/datagrid.

The idea isn't new but I felt enough time had passed that document-first AI tables shouldn't need be gated behind a few big names, a sales meeting or another subscription. Ragextract is really aiming to be the lowest-friction AI utility for everyone's toolkit.

Still in active development and ideal for anyone working with a lot of documents and needs their extraction in organised rows. Particularly interested in feedback from anyone thinking of leaving Airtable this/next year.

https://ragextract.com - you create tables that turn documents to structured outputs.

Working towards parity with established players in the space and hoping to catch some customers from the Airtable exodus. Tech: Cloudflare with a few Hetzner boxes, React & Claude.

ragextract.com

A document RAG API based on multimodal embeddings that's intended for data extraction. If your document workflow involves search and you're looking for ways to cut down on VLM (OCR) costs, Ragextract provides a simpler alternative (less bells & whistles) which makes sense for startups, SMEs and freelancers.

As someone who works on AI document workflows, I use Ragextract myself to reliably execute for various clients in finance, insurance and proptech. I'm currently working on marketing/messaging for the service and could do with more feedback and use-cases.

Have a new or existing project which could use something like Ragextract? Email me and if there's a fit happy to provide a demo or free subscription.

Currently bootstrapping Ragextract.com - the project scratched an itch, has customers and runs on autopilot in its v1 state. I'm looking to get back into contract/consulting work to help startups/SMEs with building and launching digital products. Hands-on work preferred!

Show HN: Clustering Text Embeddings

https://n8n.io/workflows/2372-survey-insights-with-qdrant-python-and-information-extractor/

I've been playing around with clustering text embeddings to find similar groups of things.Grouping similar things is useful because: \* For your user surveys, quickly find similar answers to group participants and find personas \* For your reviews, quickly group customers who have similar complaints to spot issues early \* For community comments, figure what the heck everyone else is...

Bit of a controversial opinion (since we are on a programmer's forum) but if you just want to soley focus on the "AI" part and not get bogged down by the code, use a no-code tool like flowise (https://flowiseai.com/) or even better, n8n (https://n8n.io). You will create 100x more successful "showcase-able" AI experiments in the same time it'll take to spin up one from scratch - and guaranteed to have a lot more fun doing so!

Some inspiration here: https://n8n.io/workflows/?categories=AI

I've been creating both experimental and paid AI workflows in n8n since May. Happy to walk you through how to get started.
