Well no, I won't be taking a reduced salary for they're willing to pay (close to) market rates.

Ah, pardon my naivety. Well, I'll look at the figures you provided then. Thanks!

I won't be joining as a co-founder, and the role i'm gonna play in the company is more on the engineering / product side.

So i'm guessing somewhere around the 5% region would be fair?

Re:The most promising new web frameworks / technologies? on Friday December 07, 2012 @10:06AM (#4887167)
I've been rather intrigued with the idea of API-first development, building a services oriented backend while moving most of the business logic onto the client-side.

Therefore, front end frameworks like Ember, Backbone and Angular are what I hope to see spread in web development.

Javascript i.e. Ember and jQuery mainly, with some Node.js after work.

A little Obj C in the evenings and weekends.

Clothes.

When I see something I like being worn by someone else (either in pictures or in real life), but I have no idea what is that type of clothing called.

Plus the number of online stores that I know of is limited, doing searches on Google typically don't yield good results.

Social shopping sites? Too much noise in there.

Cool, and do you have any advice for iOS developers to achieve the similar kind of success that you're having?
Wow, would love to know what are the apps too. Or perhaps, in what category / categories are your apps in?
Re: How can I improve this Node framework? on Monday July 30, 2012 @11:30AM (#4312771)
I'm a front end guy, but last week I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try building a Node.js framework.

It is probably full of flaws at the moment, but I'm all for learning.

Let me know what I did wrong, and where can I improve. Much appreciated. Cheers
