14 - LOL. One of my friends in SF got locked on the roof of his startup--with his dog!
On your landing page, change "Link you bank..." to "Link your bank...".

The FAQ says "In order to fund operations and grow our platform we currently take up to 5c from every dollar donated, however our goal is to reduce that figure as the number of users grows." Does that mean after the first dollar is donated $0.05 is removed or is it continuous (i.e. a %age)?

Does Olive provide a statement for total yearly charitable contributions for tax purposes?

Thanks and interesting idea!

Re:Show HN: Becooked – Managing recipes made simple on Wednesday September 18, 2019 @01:28AM (#21002592)
This message in the console was interesting:

"Hello! Interested in code? Drop me a message :) [email protected]"

Wondering what 'add your instagram post to the recipe' means specifically--is that basically adding the Insta post URL to the recipe data or something else?

The sharing of the becooked link with recipe details and the Insta pic is pretty cool.

"at its current pace it would take the technology department roughly 20 years to audit all reporting entities."

Also, interesting data presented here: http://www.auditor.ca.gov/reports/2015-611/auditresults.html

The 'see also' section on this wiki page was also really interesting (esp the HDCP, Sony PS, and TI articles).

Now I need an illegal prime t-shirt...

Re:Our Brains Are Not Multi-Threaded on Monday September 09, 2019 @11:26PM (#20924805)
Email, phone calls, and even IMs has me thinking I might have some multi-threading capability and then came Slack to show me realit! (Nothing against it, I just have to limit my use of it since it really makes it hard for me to focus on tasks requiring more cognition.)
Re:Improving the Lambda Developer Experience on Wednesday September 04, 2019 @04:34AM (#20875150)
Interesting testing ideas etc. One of the other gotchas with lambda until your in on the joke is configuring the .yml file for CORS (at least for AWS, not sure abt GCFs)--if you don't do so and take a js approach you might find yourself frustrated.
