Hopefully this gains traction, but it can't be with a "dousign" type signature that has no legal validity. We should champion Qualified Electronic Signatures

The guy following it (and also remote "pilots") are/were part of a training program for the eventual deployment of self driving delivery robots. The startup is from Tallinn, Estonia, with offices in several locations
Lisbon, Portugal. English level among locals is better than France, Italy or Spain. Good Universities that provide you with well educated people to discuss your intellectual pursuits. Still affordable compared to most places in Europe or US. And the weather is good for most of the year.
I lost access to ALL my Google products for half a day for a youtube flag. I regained access to photos / drive / gmail in a matter of hours (that I spent in panic). But it took me over a year and a half to regain access to my youtube account.
Ok, I don't want to go down the road of "this is backwards and shouldn't be happening in Denmark" and I'm already tired of comments saying "it's about time, wish they did that in my country"...
So I'm asking the smart people of HN. What could be good solutions for the problem they are trying to fix?
Children of families that come from other countries don't speak the language when they enrol in 1st grade.
The first Estonian. The others were no longer Estonian by the time they reached Unicorn status

What does that say about Apple that it accepted the deal? Are they subject to any fine for their behavior?
Kraken came back online, and that made it easier for people to sell their cryptos?
Can we use this knowledge to do something about the children and especially the daughters of the refugees coming out of Syria now?
Snapchat (the company) defines itself as a camera company. This can be seen in their IPO and SEC filing documents. And I bet it has a lot to do with their snapchat spectacles.

The Portuguese first sailed and reached India in 1498 (Vasco da Gama). This ship (nau in Portuguese) left Lisbon in 1502. It was part of the second voyage of exploration from Portugal to India.
Kudos to the team for being immediately open about the issue.
I'm not sure if this is a new development or an older issue. One thing you need to understand is that the timing for this info getting out there is perhaps a little less than a coincidence. Estonia is poised to have local elections very soon (mid October) and even non-citizens can vote, as long as they are residents and have an ID card.
Traditionally one of the parties (Keskerakond) has received very few votes from the e-voting. They have an older voting crowd and also less urban, and get the majority of Russian speaking votes. They would have a lot to gain from speculation over security issues with e-voting. Also, Keskerakond, has had ties with Russia and Russian money financing some of their campaigns.
I'm not saying it's Russia, but the timing of the announcement of the vulnerability is very interesting

Oh snap. And Apple has been touting itself as the champion of privacy in comparison with Google, Facebook and Microsoft... This doesn't look good for them

Stackable Mac Minis anyone? daisy chained and with a single OS controlling all the RAM and CPU power
As opposed to Spotify, which only acts as a distribution platform, and therefore plays nicely with all labels. Imagine if Spotify would "become" a label and start producing music directly with artists... They'd quickly be shunned by the record labels
The way they released "Designated Survivor" was similar to "old school" TV shows. With one episode per week being released. So I guess they are testing with that model
Can you actually link to the stat you mention?
Estonia, simple forms, simple tax system (even a layman can understand it and can do their own taxes or small biz taxes). No need to visit to open a company or bank account if you have an e-resident card. E-residency cards are available to citizens of most nations.

Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again
And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'.
In many cases, the police doesn't care that they are being filmed. There's this new documentary coming out called Do Not Resist, and there was an article on the WSJ about it with the following quote "The most disturbing thing is that it simply doesn’t occur to the sheriff that the footage might be disturbing. He has no problem letting a film crew show this massive contraption built to withstand roadside bombs in a military convoy lumbering through his small town, because the notion that military vehicles aren’t appropriate for domestic policing is foreign to him."
