It was very funny to expand the prompts.

expand prompt

The site is really fast. I see HTTP/3, OpenGraph, and Cloudflare. Can you expand on the technologies used?

Also... "Each book links back to the comments that mentioned it."

Claude speak gives me a gag reflex these days.

What does this actually show?
The benchmarks are not ideal.
Re:GLM-Legal: Advancing Agentic Legal Intelligence on Tuesday October 13, 2026 @11:34AM (#50073351)
FYI whenever you all say “CCP” you sound like Tom Cotton and whatever you say next has mostly lost any credibility.

Re:Why aren't AI companies being charged for hacking? on Monday October 12, 2026 @12:02PM (#50058365)
Related: Aaron Swartz (RSS, Creative Commons, Reddit, Markdown) was charged with unauthorized computer access and pirating copyrighted academic articles.

They threw the book at him. He was charged and faced a maximum of 50 years in prison.

OpenAI committed very similar crimes on a much larger scale, yet the most they will see is civil litigation.

Insiders have called it the largest theft of labor ever in history[1].

In the USA, corporations enjoy constitutional protections, the right to free speech etc, yet they are rarely if ever charged with crimes. For examples, see how the courts handle:

* large scale systematic wage theft by corporations vs petty theft by an individual,

* negligence infecting a 10k Americans with HIV by selling known-to-be-contaminated blood products (Bayer)

Sadly they forgot comprehensions, one of the most elegant features of CoffeeScript.
Others have posted that this datacenter has not yet "come online" and that the water usage is low because it is not yet running at its full potential.
Re:Plan Mode Is Dead on Saturday September 26, 2026 @01:03PM (#49858449)
I’ve been waiting for some kind of steering mode.

Imagining a mode where the agent is very transparent about its direction and process, and I can passively interject at any time to steer the outcome, without having to wait my turn or hard-interrupt.

Re:Bill to Ban Private Equity from Owning Medical Practices on Monday September 21, 2026 @12:00AM (#49782910)
Warren was a 1980s Republican who did legal work on behalf of major corporations including Big Oil vultures.

She stayed in the race for Super Tuesday in 2020 rather than consolidating the progressive vote for Sanders.

Right before, her campaign accepted millions in funding from billionaires after promising not to. Her comment was roughly, as soon as others stop taking billionaire money, I will stop.

A materialist might imagine consciousness is made up of constituent parts, like the organs of perception and the cells that make up those organs.

So perhaps you are a constituent part of the larger consciousness, and you feel your part of it (e.g. your roles and relationships in society)

Re:GLM Built Its Own Inference Infrastructure on Thursday September 17, 2026 @01:47PM (#49744164)
From my understanding Chinese companies are pushing for open global cooperation on AI, as well as Meta.

Only the US sees this as a competition, new space race, Cold War, etc.

Re:GLM Built Its Own Inference Infrastructure on Thursday September 17, 2026 @01:43PM (#49744105)
The first part of the article reads like Z.AI is trying to get their piece of the “national security concern” pie.

The way these “AI is too powerful now” articles read about Mythos, Fable, GLM, etc is completely incongruent with my experience using them. It feels like they are all trying to position themselves to influence government policy.

Re:I can't stop thinking about Papua New Guinea on Tuesday September 15, 2026 @08:13AM (#49711363)
Never going to be able to see “PNG” written again without secretly thinking “Papua New Guinea” in my mind.
Re:Claude, change the "Add to Cart" button to blue on Wednesday September 09, 2026 @09:17PM (#49637038)
I typically see the exact opposite problem when giving Claude the reins on a large undertaking.

Claude will, without prompting, break the implementation into 6 phases, and write AI slop “code as English” specs for each phase, each one with glaring errors and unintelligible terse jargon. It will review them all several times with major findings every time and tons of design churn…

Then it will implement a total heap of garbage over many hours of many agents, despite it working in “lanes” and in parallel, and with regular input needed.

Just thousands and thousands of lines of junk, which auto review then plays whack-a-mole to polish and fix. All the while it is able to see the errors and edge cases, yet fails to see the key architectural blunders that led to them in the first place.

I’ve had to fully rethink my approach to LLM tasks like this. For example, for library-esque modules, I have found that isolating the problem outside of the codebase is one useful approach. Something about the lack of noise. It can land on a cleaner solution that can be retrofitted.

I also find that asking it to implement end to end in one fell swoop with a very high level plan actually saves time and creates a cleaner result.

Re:Show HN: Wg-admin – web UI for an existing WireGuard host on Monday September 07, 2026 @06:08PM (#49603503)
Seems like high-risk and low-reward for your network security. You could host it behind the WG interface, but… still exposing the castle’s master key to a python web app.

I have found that WG client management is as simple as a couple scripts and a TSV file to match pubkeys to users.

Anyhow, cool project and I like the overall concept of respecting existing config.

Re:Orbs on Sunday August 30, 2026 @12:55PM (#49500394)
I’ve used a few of the hosted VM options for this like Coder and really dislike having to do my work in a web browser.

This is why I made ParaSpace (https://paraspace.dev/)

With ParaSpace I can use a real terminal and my normal tooling to develop locally on fast booting isolated containers. I even get to bring my own dotfiles.

Re:The Twelve-Factor App on Saturday August 29, 2026 @02:32AM (#49487492)
You have to enjoy this article from the perception of its time.

For example #1, the idea of a central codebase + many deploys was not always the way folks did things lol.

The (2025) date must not be correct…

Re: on Friday August 21, 2026 @08:48AM (#49387310)
For sure Claude especially must have a knob that allows them to route traffic to lower quantizations as desired, as well as arbitrary throttling.

It’s clear as day. I’ve also noticed this behavior on Sundays, not just US workday hours.

Re:Clean up Claude 5's token vomit with a separate LLM on Thursday August 20, 2026 @07:03PM (#49381467)
Claude already does summaries at the end of long output but they often sound even more like terse jargon nonsense than the long form, eg “the hardwired seam and the relocated barrel”.

Sometimes the summaries feel totally alien to the task or code.

After learning a little Mandarin I was amazed at how much simpler the Chinese grammar is than all Latin, Germanic, Romance, etc languages.

No gender, cases, tenses, conjugation, articles, word order inversion, etc. It's remarkable.

Mandarin has it's own complexities but grammar wise, it feels more optimized or simpler.

Long live the D programming language!
Re:Go is an ideal language for AI-assisted software engineering on Wednesday August 12, 2026 @01:38AM (#49268189)
Good point.

It's sometimes challenging to get a Rust program to compile... but if you do, it's probably going to work.

Re:How I use LLMs to learn complex topics on Monday August 10, 2026 @12:35AM (#49239227)
This looks like the most convoluted and token heavy way to consume a bulleted list.
Re:Databricks drove down AI coding spend 70% on Friday August 07, 2026 @04:17PM (#49215702)
This is very close to my workflow but you forgot one important step:

- Suggest a better approach that makes the AI say, “That’s much simpler. And you’re right. My original plan was over-engineered.”

New macOS is bloatware that makes your computer slower
