It was interesting how much he talked about coachability and providing training. He put more emphasis on that then every other speaker today
Re:Fatal Sales Mistakes on Thursday October 17, 2013 @05:23PM (#6568222)

One of the most interesting comments during the Q and A was Aaron recommended people don't be blinded by resumes (paraphrasing) "Just because people work at google, they might have 10k people there, doesn't mean they all [google employees\ are qualified or a good fit to join an early stage start up"

Re:Help me figure out how I lost this bet to an engineer on Wednesday September 11, 2013 @10:06PM (#6371605)

Re:Help me figure out how I lost this bet to an engineer on Wednesday September 11, 2013 @07:29PM (#6370907)
The photo used in the story is not her. I am 100% certain. The photo in the blog is a picture of a random girl who lives in another part of the country, has different physical attributs, and is a different age than the original girl in question
Re:Help me figure out how I lost this bet to an engineer on Wednesday September 11, 2013 @06:34PM (#6370606)
No, there was no hint about what company she worked for. And she didn't apply to work at Elastic / Close.io either
Re:Help me figure out how I lost this bet to an engineer on Wednesday September 11, 2013 @06:17PM (#6370504)
When I told her about the bet she laughed and took it all in stride. She thought it was funny.
Re:Help me figure out how I lost this bet to an engineer on Wednesday September 11, 2013 @06:04PM (#6370442)

Re:Help me figure out how I lost this bet to an engineer on Wednesday September 11, 2013 @05:45PM (#6370342)

@asymetric - I am not an engineer, I don't know how a lot of these things work. Rather than critique, I would appreciate a better analogy that I can use in the future
