Re:18F: CSS coding style guide on Friday January 29, 2016 @06:02PM (#10999238)
Really? This is pretty much bearable is not that bad as you make it sound. Is not really unmaintainable and horrible unless the code-base doesn't has a defined specification through variables and guide lines.

Re:Why I Write Games in C on Saturday January 09, 2016 @01:38PM (#10872306)
I use Clojure which have a repl base workflow, I never need to compile anything to test my code and the feedback is instant.
Re:Why I Write Games in C on Saturday January 09, 2016 @11:12AM (#10871715)
As good advice as this is, waiting 10 or 20 for compilation is just sad.

Re:Elixir 1.2.0 Released on Friday January 01, 2016 @09:10AM (#10821914)
Since elixir is base on Erlang, it would have the same Repl workflow that you would find in Clojure?

Re:Why Go Is Not Good (2014) on Monday December 21, 2015 @11:11PM (#10775769)
> Go is one of the simplest languages in existence

Are you saying that is simple because:

1) Is so anemic and have a relatively small specification?

2) Let you solve problems in the most simple ways?

I could (maybe) kinda agree if you refer to 1...kinda.

Re:Angular 2 Beta released on Tuesday December 15, 2015 @10:01PM (#10742083)
Well React approach of composition has reach even others programming languages and communities and with things like redux and react-hot-loader is a game changer.

Re:How Our CSS Framework Helps Enforce Accessibility on Thursday November 05, 2015 @08:28AM (#10513153)
Interesting idea, but I not sure of its practicality, there is nothing to stop the developer to add classes that don't follow this convention.
Re:Light Table 0.8.0-alpha on Saturday October 24, 2015 @07:35PM (#10445309)
I consider LighTable as the most user friendly Clojure/Clojurescript editor at the moment, for beginners is really great, you need you install it and easily you have everything to start working with Clojure. I even can imaging myself using it for moderate size Clojure projects. But is you really need something more powerful I think Cursive or Emacs are good options.
Re:Goodbye CoffeeScript, Hello TypeScript on Tuesday October 20, 2015 @08:26PM (#10422820)
"Is this such a bad thing to keep things simple?"

And you are claim that your way is simpler? To me all the thing that you rant about are just different. If things with the web rendering would started with the front-end instead the back-end, then you would be ranting the same stuff on the opposite side and you would be saying that SPA are simpler.
