The real hard question is: "SO WHAT?". Is anybody going to stop using agents? No, it takes you out of competition fast. Is anybody can do anything about _how_ they use agents or _how_ they design guardrail better? No, because nobody knows how. Is it gonna make agents' authors fix it? No, because they are also invested hugely into this research and so far they don't know how to solve it either.

Re:Nyxt: The Emacs-like web browser on Thursday August 14, 2025 @01:25AM (#44897009)
The guys behind have decent lisp and hacking skills and zero to none product thinking. The project is around for a while but the complete lack of ability to think about users or from the users perpective makes it a dead end
Re:Oniux: Kernel-level Tor isolation for any Linux app on Sunday June 01, 2025 @12:11AM (#44148611)

Re:The German School of Lisp (2011) on Saturday November 12, 2022 @08:51AM (#33573024)
You could change the “Lisp” in your comment to “Programming Language” to make the answer less unobvious.
Re:Why Mathematicians Study Knots on Monday October 31, 2022 @02:25PM (#33410258)
As for knots - they say there is a significant interception in the center of the venn diagram of shibarists, scouts and climbers, not that sure about mathematicians though
Re:History and effective use of Vim (2019) on Friday July 29, 2022 @07:49AM (#32275762)
Just asked my Emacs to open the link, read it and summarize it out loud for me with emacspeak.
Re:About communication safety in Messages on Thursday July 28, 2022 @04:31PM (#32269745)
So, this article is not about using Messages in a way that could get you safe through Russian filtration camps (in case you haven't manage to evacuate before your city was occupied) where you phone is thoroughly examined and both having some suspicious messages and not having them at all could get you into trouble (meaning torture/death). It's about nude photos.
Re:Show HN: Kvass, a personal key-value store on Sunday July 24, 2022 @08:46AM (#32212921)
Not trolling or trying to downplay anybody here, but honestly - how “kvass” (readed as “k-v-ass” given it is a “key-value” storage) is a good name?..
If that's true then:

1. Either LinkedIn is hacked by drug mafia 2. Or drug mafia has people inside LinkedIn

But first thing - you should share you full report that you've sent to LinkedIn. You don't risk outing yourself - since mafia already knows your account.

Re:I hate LaTeX, I love LaTeX on Tuesday May 24, 2022 @09:41AM (#31491969)
I would disagree. You can play the violin firstly because the violin was designed so that it could produce beautiful sounds under _human_hands_. This way, not another.
Re:Map of Reddit on Friday May 13, 2022 @12:40AM (#31363395)
How to zoom out?.. (I've finally found that double click will zoom in)
...or not.
Re:How to write better scientific code in Python? on Saturday February 19, 2022 @02:55PM (#30399969)
How to better scratch some working thoughts on a napkin?
Re:Failing to Learn Zig via Advent of Code on Monday January 17, 2022 @06:57AM (#29965688)
It starts with a mention of hating Python and continues into a detailed report that could be alternatively called “100 wrong things that Python got right”
As an engineer translating formulas into code, I'd rather go and get the deep and clear understanding of the meaning behind the formulas, rather than rely on a highlighting to help me away with the vagueness of my understanding.
Re:Use spacer components instead of CSS margins (2020) on Tuesday January 04, 2022 @07:30AM (#29794038)
Here we ago again, first it was my laziness, now the luck or real understanding :) If we are on the grounds of telling other people what their choices are (another arrogant and surprising manipulation, but whatever) you have a choice to engage into fixing the wrong message. Or you can continue posting comments directly to unknown individuals trying to enlighten them on reasons how their behavior triggers you.
