You still could use bitbucket. It allows to create unlimited amount of private repos with max of 5 users.
Open Source doesn't mean free.
Is that a joke?
Re:TypeScript 0.9 released on Thursday June 20, 2013 @06:20AM (#5911207)
same as for JavaScript
Re:TypeScript 0.9 released on Thursday June 20, 2013 @06:18AM (#5911202)
but they use git as well, so you could easily set up a mirror on github.

Try github pages
Re:TypeScript 0.9 released on Wednesday June 19, 2013 @12:53PM (#5906677)
When you comfortable with JavaScript, there is nothing can scare you in TypeScript.

The only thing is - to get a best you need to prepare. If you using some library, I should find (or write, or generate) proper definition file for this library (Interface). But when you get all together - you have a lot of happy hours of coding :)

I'm sorry, I'm not a Ruby developer and hope never would :) From my prospect - all languages, which has no brackets are ugly and simular to ruby.

Btw, based on typescript discussions, they are going to implement async/await functionality too.

Re:TypeScript 0.9 released on Wednesday June 19, 2013 @02:11AM (#5903974)
You're absolutely right. I'm an C# dev who switched to JavaScript stack and using TypeScript already for 5-6 months. It was just a first-look description for the TypeScript.

Btw, TypeScript also aiming to fix context problem so in callbacks 'this' keyword is always related to parent class.

They are going to make it happen.

Re:TypeScript 0.9 released on Tuesday June 18, 2013 @04:52PM (#5901988)
Nope.

It is running on Linux/Mac/Windows (node.js module).

And already has support in all major IDE (Visual Studio, IntelliJ) and text editors (Sublime, Emacs, ..)

Re:TypeScript 0.9 released on Tuesday June 18, 2013 @04:39PM (#5901921)
They are aiming to bring ES6 into today development so they looks into ES6 specs very often.
Re:TypeScript 0.9 released on Tuesday June 18, 2013 @04:32PM (#5901879)
It seems to be very close to CoffeeScript, but without this ugly Ruby syntax (for me).
Re:TypeScript 0.9 released on Tuesday June 18, 2013 @04:23PM (#5901814)
Or if you want to do it automatically, you could use Mimosa.js as well (http://mimosajs.com/)
Re:TypeScript 0.9 released on Tuesday June 18, 2013 @04:22PM (#5901804)
For node.js developers:

If you don't want to recompile it every time, you could just use better-require module: https://github.com/olalonde/better-require

Re:TypeScript 0.9 released on Tuesday June 18, 2013 @04:11PM (#5901732)
I will recommend you to try WebStorm Trial by IntelliJ (http://www.jetbrains.com/webstorm/)

This is the same as IDEA, but focused on Web Development and releasing new features much-much faster.

But best support offers MIcrosoft's Visual Studio. You could try Visual Studio Web Express (http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/eng/products/visual-st...) if you are using Windows. It's totally free.

Re:TypeScript 0.9 released on Tuesday June 18, 2013 @03:30PM (#5901439)
TypeScript is a language for application-scale JavaScript development. TypeScript is a typed superset of JavaScript that compiles to plain JavaScript. Any browser. Any host. Any OS. Open Source.

Btw, I've used it a lot, feel free to ask any questions.

Looks like it's a big chance to make a startup based on big-company closed service. E.g. Feedly is a good option.
Re:Preview of bootstrap 3 on Friday April 12, 2013 @12:04PM (#5539259)
shutting down the docs.
Re:Preview of bootstrap 3 on Friday April 12, 2013 @06:39AM (#5537682)
It's open-source, man. I did not changed any copyrights or licenses.

Btw, I was impressed with what I saw today morning and just wanted to share my impression with other guys.

Re:Preview of bootstrap 3 on Friday April 12, 2013 @05:41AM (#5537461)
OK.
Re:Preview of bootstrap 3 on Friday April 12, 2013 @05:26AM (#5537416)
that post was 3 weeks ago.

Btw, I've asked @mdo's opinion. Waiting for the answer.

Re:Preview of bootstrap 3 on Friday April 12, 2013 @05:18AM (#5537396)
But when you open their demo site - all ok?

Maybe you should try profile this page to understand what's going on.

Re:Preview of bootstrap 3 on Friday April 12, 2013 @05:11AM (#5537365)
I think, you could try this: http://designmodo.github.io/Flat-UI/
Re:Preview of bootstrap 3 on Friday April 12, 2013 @05:10AM (#5537360)
The main differences - all layout now responsive so no need to include bootstrap-responsive.css and use row-fluid, container-fluid. All stuff already always fluid now.

Second main point - the framework now mobile ready - that mean a lot of mobile optimisations and widgets for mobile devices.

Re:Preview of bootstrap 3 on Friday April 12, 2013 @05:08AM (#5537354)
Whoops... But I think a lot of people are want see whats new.

I think, I will turn it down after a while...

Re:Preview of bootstrap 3 on Friday April 12, 2013 @04:44AM (#5537296)
Hello, guys.

Found today, that Bootstrap Team is very close to finish Bootstrap 3(https://github.com/twitter/bootstrap/pull/6342), but docs for bootstrap 3 doesn't work (http://rc.getbootstrap.com/), so I forked the repo and built it to watch for new features.

Enjoy!
